The Bottom Line: Regional field guides speed up bird identification and the color plates in Birds of Texas are quite helpful.
Review: What, no pictures? Don't let the first 253 pages of this book fool you. It happens to be one of the best regional bird books I've found. This state guide identifies 622 birds with a summary of valuable information and specific data on where and when...
