Pros: Easy to use, variable settings, indicator lights up when it needs to be refilled
Cons: fan can be a little loud at highest settings

Pros: Reasonably quiet. Puts out lot of moisture. Easy to use.
Cons: Requires regular maintenance. Consumable items like wick and bacteria treatment are hard to find locally.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this to anyone that need an easy solution to humidify the whole house and can put up with the regular required maintenance.

Pros: Reliable. Cleans easy. Works great. Simple effective design.

The Bottom Line: I recommend this model all the time to many clients in NYC area for their home and their pianos.
