Now, you may be saying that all BMW models are performance-oriented but the M-Series are the performance versions of the already sporty Beemer lines. The 2003 BMW M-Series is comprised of cars akin to those from the 3-Series and the 5-Series but these are on altogether different order of power, performance, quality and interior content.

Incredibly Well Rounded & Capable Sportscar. Why you should buy it.

Looks sportier than it truly is

The Bottom Line: Looks can be deceiving, the M3 is not as sporty as it could be. Get a SMG2 if you want one anyway.

M3 lives off of unwarranted prestige

The Bottom Line: if you must have the BMW cache. But for the money, it is not a pure sports car. It makes too many concessions to luxury and comfort adding weight.
