The slim adapter consists of a CF type I insert in the front, which mounts in the Jornada's built-in CF type I slot, and a CF type II slot in the back, which accepts CF type II cards and IBM Microdrives. With the introduction of the CF Pocket adapter, Jornada users are able to use higher capacity memory cards and Microdrives just like users of the other two major brands of Pocket PC-based handhelds, which are Compaq and Casio.??An important feature of the adapter is its slim profile. It is very thick and also is very light. The small size and lightweight were achieved in part due to there being no "ejector mechanism" in the adapter.
