Product Description

 
The Bluth clan lives a life of excess, funded by the family credit card and paid for by the fortune patriarch George Bluth (Jeffrey Tambor) made in the tract home development business. Oldest son George Oscar Bluth II, nicknamed Gob, is an "illusionist" of minor importance who has anger management issues, while the youngest son Buster whiles away his days taking obscure graduate school courses. Daughter Lindsay (Portia de Rossi) is a vain socialite who throws parties with her sexually ambiguous husband (David Cross, MR. SHOW). The only sane member of the family is Linsay's twin brother Michael (Jason Bateman), a widower who stands to inherit the reins to the family corporation when his father retires. However, at the retirement party some unexpected obstacles are thrown into the mix: Michael, having informed the family that his first task as head of the company will be to confiscate everyone's credit cards, is passed over in favor of his snobby alcoholic mother, Lucille (Jessica Walter). getting to know the bluths

The Bottom Line: best show on tv today. and yesterday.
Review: Arrested Development is in my humble opinion, the funniest show on television. Now you may be thinking "Family Guy!" but boy do I have some harsh words for you. Not really, but I feel Family Guy is more a collection of jokes and feels too disjointed...

Oh fox, why must you cancel all of your great television? Following in the footsteps of Futurama and Family Guy Arrested Development is a fantastic sitcom that transcends the average sitcom by about 10,000 percent. If you watch this you won't be disappointed, my Dad actually turned me on to it and by the end of the second season every one of my friends was a fan. Its nonstop funny, it was cancelled because it has some elements that don't mesh well with the mainstream Fox TV audience: watch it sequentially, have an IQ above 35, and those who can appreciate a well directed, incredibly original TV show. Its even got Ron Howard on board. COME ON PLEASE WATCH IT. I cannot recommend this enough.
