Arpege: More like a single note

The Bottom Line: My Bottom Line still mourns the demise of the original Arpege replaced by a dumbed-down Kool-Aid version. Ugh.
Review: My mom never wore fragrance, except for the occasional dab of Yardley English Lavender for special occasions. She also used their soap, which she stored in the linen closet, so the scent that suffuses my childhood memories is that light and lovely...

What is a Tester?: Testers come in the original manufactured packaging and may be labeled Demonstration or Not for Sale. Testers are intended for promotional display and therefore, may lack the designer caps and fancy outer box packaging. First introduced in 1927, Arpege by the House of Lanvin is rare and timeless fragrance. The relaunch of Arpege in 1993 continues this tradition of elegance bottled. Arpege begins with top notes of bergamot, neroli, aldehydes and peach. The fragrance warms to a rich floral heart of rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang and lily of the valley. As it dries, warm notes of sandalwood, vetiver, musk, vanilla and patchouli lingers.
