Vintage-style Blue Diamond covering. Solid state., Imagine if you could have an amp with a real vintage sound, but without all the weight and awkwardness of some of the older amps. The Ampeg B100R is just that. It gives you all the vintage sound you can handle with a single 15 in. driver, and Blue Diamond covering gives it the vintage look. But with solid-state design the weight is lower.

It's Small, But...

The Bottom Line: The price is ideal and you get what you pay for -- a small but very powerful bass amp!

The Bottom Line: If you like the old classic ampeg sound this is your baby. Tuff, loud and clean.
Review: I bought this new for 470. Originally I wanted to buy one of the old 60's tube amps by Ampeg because I loved the sound then and I still love the warmth. But the tube amps I saw were either wasted or too expensive. People evidently collect these...
