A Great Gift--A Phone for the Hard of Hearing

The Bottom Line: People with hearing loss can miss out on a lot. This phone helps bring them back in touch with others. Life is short. Why suffer if you don't have to?
Review: We didn't think that a phone receiver could really help someone who is hard of hearing until we tried the Ameriphone XL-50.

It is designed to help someone with moderate to severe hearing loss. The phone looks a lot like a normal touchtone...

Review: I bought this phone (at a higher price than listed, I must add) for my husband whom is hard of hearing. At first we were impressed, but we didn't expect much.
The "amplify" button does very little. Yes, it amplifies, but almost at un-audible...
