Amana Gas Downdraft Range - Indoor Grilling Cleanup a Breeze!

Pros: Sealed gas burner cartridges, easy grilling cleanup, good downdraft ventilation

Cons: No convection capability

The Bottom Line: I recommend the Amana Downdraft Gas Range for those who want a gas downdraft without the capability of convection baking/roasting and for easy grill cleanup.

Worst purchase ever!

Pros: None. Looks like a hunk of junk no matter how hard I try.

Cons: I can't tell you how bad it is without writing a book.

The Bottom Line: Do not buy this range - even it's $5! Too many repairs and will never come clean.

Review: I bought an Amana downdraft gas slide-in (this looks it could be it) in 1996 for our kitchen remodel without researching it much. This range is HORRID! Door springs & hinges have had to be replaced, control panel buttons have broken, can't read the ...
