Take your tunes with you to your vacation home with the portable AIWA CSD-XD51 boombox, featuring a stylish titanium finish and red-accented speakers. It offers a CD player that's also compatible with burned mixes on CD-R/RW discs, an AM/FM tuner with 30 presets, and a cassette deck. It pumps out 4.5 watts per channel, providing a total of 18 watts from the four 10cm full-range speakers with two tweeters. Other features include Super Bass and 3D sound enhancement and a headphone jack. It's powered by 6 D batteries or the included power cable.

The Bottom Line: It's powerful and feature rich for the price; if you can cope with the bulky design, then it's a good choice for you
Review: Introduction
Aiwa, which is actually Sony, sells this unit (the CSD-XD51) also as the CSD-XD55 and the CSD-XM77. The internals are pretty much the same, but the packaging differs; for instance, the CSD-XM77 is silver, black and orange.
