The Aiptek A-HD 720P is compatible with SDHC flash media giving you 240 minutes of HD record time on an 8 GB memory card. Night Shot enhances image quality when shooting in dark environments and HDTV component output allows you to stream media to the big screen quickly and conveniently. The A-HD 720P also doubles as a personal media player giving you the option to record and store video from any source that has standard RCA outputs.

The Bottom Line: The camera is priced right for what it does, and how well it works. Not a terrible way to start out with HD DV.
Review: From the makers of the PENCAM! Comes a super inexpensive true HD video camera! sounds too good to be true, eh? Well, it s not a total scam, but it s not George Lucas cinematography either

If It Sounds Too Good To Be True...

The Bottom Line: You're better off buying a digital camera with video capability, or one of the "Flip Video" devices that have less bells and whistles, but better battery life.
Review: Like many, I had a hard time grasping a "HD" camcorder for under $150 when I saw it at my local electronics store. But then, it was packaged in a blister pack, hanging on a wall display along with toy cameras as well. So, what should one expect?...
