Mice don’t draw good!

Pros: Accurate pen with 512 pressure levels. Large, nearly 8x6 inch, drawing area. Attractive price.

Cons: Mouse has serious drawbacks. Pen driver has limited features. May interfere with Logitech USB mouse.

The Bottom Line: Accurate pen is a suburb drawing and artwork tool that can’t be beaten. Large work area for the price. Keep your old PS/2 mouse.

Review: Id find it very tiresome working with a mouse for prolonged periods, either trying to create or follow existing shapes, both in Photoshop and other graphic applications. I wanted a tablet but had been put off by the price of the size I liked.

HyperPen 8000 & 12000

Pros: Slightly better than the HyperPen 6000

Cons: Still too small an area to work-in. Kind of pricy for what you get.

The Bottom Line: If you can find the extra $$, skip over the 6000 & 8000 and get the 12000U, you will not be sorry for the price!

Review: HyperPen 8000 & 6000 were good pads for beginers and getting started, but not a whole lot of quality as far as the scalling of the usable working area compared to your screen area.

The HyperPen 12000U has a 12x9" working area, and you do not...
