A very good successor to the original legendary GFA 555 series, but not perfect.

Pros: Excellent sound and build quality. Awesome at driving difficult speakers such as Magnepan's

Cons: Cannot be bridged. No removable power cord. No remote trigger on/off

The Bottom Line: A serious amp that generates serious sound and can drive pretty much anything. It is a real performer and for the money cannot be beat. Great with planar speakers !

Pros: Great quality of sound

Cons: Good looks are not among it's qualities

Review: The GFA5500 is one of the best Power Amplifiers Ive ever come across. Maybe it is not one of the most stylish looking ones available, but once you listen to the quality of the sound it produces you will be instantly convinced to buy it.
