VideOh! DVD is the next step up from VideOh! CD - which allows you to easily translate to DVD (MPEG-2) format. VideOh! DVD is USB 2.0-ready and USB 1.1-compatible. Simply connect one end of the VideOh! DVD device to your video source such as a camcorder, TV, or VCR and the other to the USB connection found on your PC. Transfer your video into your PC. Then use the included Sonic MyDVD software and have fun trimming and editing your footage, or just select your favorite clips for saving onto the more durable and easily shared DVD or CD media.

Horrible software, unreliable

The Bottom Line: Don't buy this! The unit is unreliable, the software doesn't work correctly, and the manufacturer doesn't support it.
Review: VideOh! DVD -- USB 2 / MPEG 1 & 2 Video capture device. Price paid: $150

Bottom line, this product is NOT worth it.

The software supplied (ArcSoft Showbiz) would not even recognize the unit, despite the fact that the XP op system...

The Bottom Line: If the VideOh!DVD didn't have the sync problem, and worked with my other software, I would recommend it. As it stands now, I would avoid buying this gear.

The Bottom Line: Avoid It. It doesn't work and maker won't help you to get it to work.
Review: I purchased the Adaptec VideOh! DVD with Sonic MyDVD v4.0.3 and Arcsoft Showbiz. I regard the purchase as a total waste of over $100 and a demonstration of why computer and software products should be held to strict warranties that the product works...
