The ASUS 1005HA: A Perfect Example of What You Should Expect in a Netbook

The Bottom Line: The 1005HA currently sets the standard for the netbook class.   Full feature set, good battery life, replaceable memory and battery, and more.   Just wish the touchpad worked better....

Review: *note: this is the same exact netbook as the ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-PU1X-BK Netbook only in blue.

I needed a portable tool for front end web development with just enough power to perform some light graphics work...

Good machine. TERRIBLE service

Review: Got the 1005HA.  I like the machine except for the touchpad (use a mouse instead).  However, Asus' tech support is miserable.  You will get an empty-headed person with your questions.  FOr example, I had a problem setting up the 'Eee Backup'...
