This AMD Athlon XP processor with QuantiSpeed architecture is based on the Barton core of 0.13 micron processors. The Athlon XP 2500+ operates at a frequency of 1.86Ghz. The processor features 512KB on-chip L2 and 128KB L1 cache, 2.7GB/s memory bandwidth, supports DDR memory, and is meant to be compatible with Socket A motherboards.

Keeps going and going and?

The Bottom Line: It just keeps going and going and going...
Review: The AMD Athlon XP 2500+ was the fastest processor I had until I upgraded to my new AMD Athlon 64 4000+ which is furious. I had used this processor in my first built system for about six to eight months and during that time I never had any problems...

Great Performance For Little Money

The Bottom Line: If you want performance at a cheap price get this processor.
Review: I wanted to upgrade my current machine, and usually the best way to do it is by getting a new processor. Being that I already had an Athlon processor (1.2 GHz T-bird) I wanted something that would be compatible with my motherboard.
