An industry standard, great sound when this specific character is needed.
4/5 stars
Sometimes a kick drum needs a lot of attack or click and a lot of low end boom sound, and this mic does it. It wouldn't be good for softer music, jazz, etc., but for genres that need a loud and present kick drum, this mic does it well. Pros: great sound when appropriate, durable, not outrageously priced Cons: could use a switchable freq. response
