Product Description

 
Dodges Stratus has a divided parentage: Sedans have a Chrysler-based design shared with the Chrysler Sebring sedan, while Stratus coupes have a Mitsubishi-based design shared with the Chrysler Sebring coupe.Sedans come in SXT and sporty R/T models. A 2.4-liter 4-cyl engine is standard in the SXT. A 2.7-liter V6 is standard in the R/T and optional in the SXT. Both have a 4-speed automatic transmission; the R/Ts includes a manual shift gate. R/T also has antilock 4-wheel disc brakes and traction control, which are optional on SXT sedans. Head-protecting curtain side airbags are optional; no torso side airbags are offered in sedans.

There are better options than this out there.

The Bottom Line: The Camry can be had at less than $2000 more. Lee Iacocca once said, "If you can buy a better car, buy it." The Camry IS a better car.
Review: I recently had the opportunity to drive the 2005 Dodge Stratus after my 2002 Saturn was totaled in a recent accident. I've loved my friend s Intrepid, and the Stratus is supposed to be a smaller version of that car, but there is a lot to be desired...

Stratus is a winner!

The Bottom Line: Good value for the money, and the styling is a cut above, especially with so many bland designs in the mid size sedan category these days.
Review: I bought my Stratus earlier this year as I was looking for
a decent mid size sedan at a reasonable price. Other models I had considered before purchase of the Stratus were
the Pontiac Grand Am, Chevy Malibu and Mitsubishi Galant.

Review: I had an Intrepid, it was a great vehicle, loved it. But got into accident needed something. I have this now and while some features are not good at all... it does not drive to well. Sadly if you somewhere that roads tend to be slick, you may not...
