It works pretty well

The Bottom Line: I would and have recommended this modem to others. It could use some improvements, but it works well and has been very reliable.
Review: I live in a major metropolitan bandwidth desert in a very large affluent west southwest suburb of Chicago. I can't get DSL or Cable modem service, and my 56K modem can't get past 31.2K. I couldn't signup for SprintBroadband because I live in a ditch...

The Bottom Line: There are few devices out there that do what this one does. For those who need the functionality, the LAN Modem is among the very best.
Review: The review already posted here by kae36 is excellent and very thorough. However, there were a couple of things that I found to be misstated. I'll cover those first and then move on to some features of the unit which were not covered in kae36's...
