The Bottom Line: Fans of the genre should pick this up. However, if you're looking for that killer title like a SOCOM or HALO, pass on it.

Transformers: Transform and Rollout with a Good Transformers Game

Pros: Impressive combat, good graphics and a sweet all around Transformers presentation.
Cons: Sluggish control and each level is very linear.
The Bottom Line: While the control is sub-par at times, the fun of playing as Optimus Prime shines. Atari built a great foundation and if a sequel arrives we could see something special.

Pros: Good graphics, biggest boss I've ever seen, beautiful backgrounds - finally a modern Transformers game!
Cons: No roads! Few characters, very awkward play control, no story development, and no playable Decepticons.
The Bottom Line: Rent it, don't buy it. It's a game with a great theme, some strong features and fun fights. But ultimately, it falls short of lighting our darkest hour.
