The Bottom Line: Without question the potentially best game in 2005, but it requires hardware to match.
Review: Fear is one of the primal instincts, but beginning Fall 2005 it also stands for First Encounter Assault Recon (F.E.A.R.) which isn't too far from the first meaning either -- at least not for the player of this highly anticipated game. It may as well...

F.E.A.R. - An awesome shooter with a brand new expansion pack

The Bottom Line: Despite the linear levels, great A.I. and fun online multiplayer combat make this a great game.
Review: F.E.A.R. (First Encounter Assault Recon) is not only a great shooter game for the Windows PC, but it's also quite scary. Since its release, this game has spawned two expansion packs and is still heavily played online. I highly recommend it.
