Rubber spiders, in the polypropylene woofers, seal the tweeter posts and keep water and moisture from entering the voice coil. Even the wires inside the speaker are coated with silicone rubber so they won't corrode. When we say tough, we mean it. Again, we offer dual tweeter versions which are single stereo rocks that can play both right and left channels. And for more demanding applications we offer a Wide Coverage Rox which has two complete coaxial drivers in a single enclosure.
