The Microline® 491 from Okidata is a high productivity 24-pin dot matrix printer. The printer is engineered for dedicated printing in demanding point-of-sale, automation and utility applications. Its consummate performance comes from the rugged printhead design that keeps your print images sharp for a 200-million character life. The printhead has a powerful samarium cobalt magnet and stored-energy pins to deliver a stronger punch. An internal cooling fan provides continuous airflow for the printhead maximizing throughput productivity for long, unattended print jobs. The enduring rack-and-pinion drive system ensures long-lasting print quality. The 3-piece top cover provides easy access and excellent break resistance. Equipped with additional feed rollers, the printer offers precise form handling and printed- character placement accuracy.
