CHASING PAPI from first-time director Linda Mendoza is a light-hearted romp with Latin flair. Tomas Eduardo Verastegui is every woman's dream-- successful smart attractive sensitive and sexy. In short he's a catch and a hunk. Unfortunately his one major flaw is that he is in love with three very different women none of who knows about each other. Sexy sassy CiCi Sofia Vergara is a cocktail waitress in Miami bookish attorney Lorena Roselyn Sanchez lives in Chicago and classy New Yorker Patricia is a diplomat's daughter and a momma's girl. In deference to their respective horoscopes all three women plan surprise visits to their beau. Of course they all descend upon his Los Angeles home at the same time much to Tomas' shock. To make matters worse CiCi is unknowingly in possession of a bag of counterfeit cash leading to more confusion and hijinx that includes gangsters and the FBI.
