I ordered a Kidco gate from BabyAge through ebay and paid via Bill-me-Later. The product arrived on time and as described. However, I found out that the gate was not needed after all and returned it. Unfortunately, they gave me store credit instead of refunding my credit card! I don't need anything else from BabyAge! After contacting them twice over a 2-week period, customer service at BabyAge finally worked with me and changed the store credit to a real refund.

I've just had the worst online shopping experience ever with Babyage. On November 29th I ordered and item, $50.00 was taken out of my account. I never recieved anything from Babyage. When I finally called on December 20th their customer service flatly told me the item had been on backorder and would not be arriving and she would refund me which she did. Had I never called babyage I would be out $50 with nothing. Will never use this sight again, AWFUL service.

DO NOT purchase from BabyAge.com!! I've had the most horrible buying experience ever with them. I bought a $60 Fisher Price Froggy bouncer for my sisters baby shower present. It arrived with a big hole in the box with its contents severely damaged. I have written them several emails with no response from them. Needless to say I had to run out and buy another one from Babysrus for $70. So, the $60 bouncer just cost me $130. It is definitely not worth the headache just to save a measely $10. The damage could have been from FedEx, but I need BabyAge to respond to my emails so that they can file a claim with the shipping company. They've been ignoring me ever since. After they received my money, they wanted nothing to do with me. I will never shop here again, and neither will my friends and family for that matter. The only satisfaction I get is knowing that atleast one person will heed my warning and stay away from them.

Bought a Highchair for my daughter and never got a tracking number and when I called 3 weeks after my purchase they had no record what so ever on why my product hadn't been shipped.
I had to call the manufacturer directly (which only took me 2 minutes) to find out what they couldn't solve in 4 days Won't use this store anymore! |

The product was delivered in a timely matter, but it was not what was advertised. The print on the stroller was a different pattern than what they had in their picture, which was important to me as I had to match accompanying accessories, (also from Baby Age, in the same order). Not only did I not get reimbursed for the shipping to me, but I had to pay the return shipping costs. Very poor customer service too, not helpful at all. Now I am empty handed and out $25.00

I have to admit, I was a little skeptical about buying baby products from an online retailer. However, I was highly impressed with the ease of ordering. My item was shipping promptly for a small shipping fee and my niece loved her new toy. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

COMPLETE JOKE OF A COMPANY!!! We ordered car seats for our sons and were sent the wrong color. I have spent a good portion of the afternoon on the phone trying to get someone in customer service that is non existent. They tell you to dial an extension but don't tell you the extensions or give you them in the order. After spending a couple of hours trying to get a hold of the returns department, I accidently dialed the number only to be told it was closed and to call back during normal business hours. WTF!!! I would rather get a vestectomy without anesteshia then deal with this company again.

I was shopping for a crib for my first grandchild. I am unbelievably happy I decided on the Soho 5-in-1 Convertible Crib at BabyAge.com. It can evolve from an infant crib to a toddler bed to a full size bed, so it will be useful for years and years. The color matches perfectly and it was easy to assemble. I am very satisfied with the reliability of babyage.com. When I found out my wife was pregnant with our first child and I wanted to surprise her by buying all the pregnancy essentials. I did much research and comparisons that lead me to find babyage.com. I purchased a pregnancy body pillow, prenatal heart listener, and bassinet, and was shocked when all three products arrived within days! The $9.99 flat shipping rate makes the total price affordable. I purchased bedding at BabyAge.com and during my online purchase I saw now wording about the 50% restocking fee that only applies to bedding. Their returns section has a 30 day satisfaction guaranteed paragraph and it isn't until the last sentence two paragraphs later that it mentions that there is a 50% restocking fee on bedding. I had to call to get a return authorization and no one told me about the restocking fee at that time. I am guessing this is where they make their money. I don't typically check web sites for these clauses but I guess I will start. I would have kept the item and sold it on eBay for what I paid for it or for a small loss but not the 50% restocking fee. Don't buy from BabyAge.

I received a gift from my Amazon baby registry from BabyAge. I later learned that the product contained some potential toxins. Even though it was past the 30 day window for returns, I contacted BabyAge's customer service and asked them to make an exception, given that my product was unopened. They refused to do so. When I asked to speak to a manager, it took over a month for them to get back to me and when they did, they again refused my request without even allowing me to speak to a manager. Many stores who will make reasonable exceptions to their return policies, particularly when it comes to baby products that are often purchased months in advance off of gift registries. At a minimum, they should have let me plead my case to a supervisor. My advice -- go elsewhere.
