I ordered a refurbished Vizio TV from OnSale. They didn't offer free shipping, but I coughed up the extra $35 because the price of the TV seemed good. They didn't bother notifying me when they had shipped the TV. When it arrived, I tried to turn it on and discovered that it was broken. The customer service agent did not seem surprised at all that they had sent me a broken TV, and he offered me nothing except a refund. Now I am going to have to spend half an hour packing the TV back into its box so I can ship it back. OnSale has horrible customer reviews for a reason. Don't buy from them.

Fraud is the only word I can think of. Most, if not all, the positive reviews they're getting must be from people On Sale paid to write fake reviews or are from employee(s).
I bought a discounted $6.99 subway gift card from them on Sept 29 (worth $10). They sent me a vague email saying that I have a receipt, but does not tell me if they've shipped the order or if I have to redeem it like a voucher, like on Groupon. So I email them and even now, no reply. I call them and I'm automatically disconnected whenever I choose the customer service option. Then today, I look at my checking account & see that instead of charging me $6.99, they charge me $6.99 FOUR TIMES. So I call them and of course, no reply. I've sent them two emails already AND filed a complaint with the BBB.

I've read the BBB report on them which states that they got a C because they are NOT a BBB accredited business, BUT used the BBB logo on their site. So far, very shady. DON'T buy with them. I've already asked my bank to make sure the order doesn't go through."

Absolutely horrible company. Stay away from these guys. They'll take your order and sit on your money but never ship the merchandise. Biggest scam site out there.

Avoid at all costs! Ordered an item from them through their Amazon store. They said it was in stock. I got the order confirmation in my email. They took the money from my bank account. But 4 days later they sent me a cancellation email!

I called them up to inquire about this and they blamed Amazon. I contacted Amazon and they blamed onsale. What a mess!

Don't bother. Don't waste your time. Don't promote a bad company!

On August 21, 2011 this company made available a link to a discounted HP Touchpad tablet PC.  Even though they only had 10,000 units in stock, they allowed 100,000 orders to be processed.  Once processed, authorization holds were placed on the credit cards used to order.  Even though it was immediately clear that they would be unable to fulfill all the orders, this company waited until 4 days later before cancelling the transactions.  During the limbo time, there were only a handful of communications made through unofficial channels that contained conflicting and repeated vague information, with promises that the issue would be resolved within 24 hours, then 48 hours, then "shortly" when in reality it took 4 days.  The company has also not responded to allegations made that they gave preference to those people who paid extra expedited shipping, rather than their stated "first come, first served" process.

I would like an offer of appeasement or public apology for time wasted and a full, detailed explanation of what that led to such an outlandish circumstance and unprofessional lack of response.

My shopping experience with onsale has been awful. They shipped me the wrong item and refused to work with me to get a replacement/refund.  They ignored my emails all along.  I would definitely stay from onsale.com.  Customer service is definitely not important to them.  Now I'm stuck with the wrong item and they won't help me.

Onsale.com has scammed me twice on rebates. The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt even though an employee did give me incorrect information. A year later I found a deal with two rebates directly from ONSALE.Com and they refuse to honor them. I filled out ridiculous paperwork, made copies, cut out product information, etc and they simply refuse to send the rebate, saying they didn't receive anything from me although one employee had told me that everything was in order and my checks would be coming. After many phone calls and emails, nothing has happened and they won't even answer inquiries anymore at all. They will cheat you and there's apparently nothing to be done about it since it is their own company rebate.

Terrible service! We paid extra to have the order shipped next day, and after waiting a HUGE amount of time for someone to finally pick up they told us the items wont get here until 4-5 days. Asked about a reimbursement for the shipping and they mentioned they cannot assist. At least I know where NOT to shop.

NEVER AGAIN will I order anything from onsale.com. What a nightmare experience. They double charged my credit card for the same item. When I ordered the item, it said it was available and then when I went through with the transaction it came up back ordered. I tried calling customer service SEVERAL times and the phone at this company just keeps ringing- no one answers it. When you finally do get through, they basically rush through your conversation not really listening and then that's it. One of the charges was put back on my card, however, the other has not. I am still trying to get this mess straightend out. The worst past is that they have a HORRIBLE rating with the BBB and after reading all these negative comments- I only wished I would have done more of this research before ordering. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY- YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!
