I ordered a Cannon T2I camera on Nov. 26th. Recieved a confirmation call the next day. On Dec. 12th I recieved an e-mail stating this item was not in stock. I called and found that the camera would not be in stock untill Jan 5th 2011. The web site still shows this item available with no mention of backorder or delayed shippment.

Could not get a response from the merchant - telephone is disconnected and no response to two email requests. Order was confirmed 12 business days ago but no shipping info available. Not sure if this company is still in business; and if they are, how they plan to stay that way. I recommend staying away from this seller.

Bought online, contacted by phone and put through an endless string of supposedly cheap upgrades with no access to online information. when off the phone and at a computer, had many questions about the options and prices quoted. Negotiated a reduction, but many of the supposed options, like the quick battery charger, just turned out to be the standard battery charger offered at Sony as part of the package. Other items in the upgrades, such as firmware, actually are in the standard package. Negotiated a $400 rebate, and a better quality camera case. Rebate was received but the camera case was never set. Repeated phones have gone unreturned. I will not do business with US1Camera again, nor would I recommend them to anyone else. Let the buyer beware. They pretty much use con and hustle to milk money out of you for standard items. If I had bought the same package from Sony, I would have spent about $1600. the original package price from US1Camera was $2900 and with the $400 rebate it was $2500. Go with a straight Sony deal and you will be money ahead, regardless of the come on, come on offer price US1Camera is showing on their website. Never again.

Ordered 6/1 still have not received. Salesperson called after online order to tell me I needed som "firmware" make it work because I was not buying a retail version of the equipment. Very interested to see what this alleged firmware is. I am not a happy camper.

I canceled this order and called my credit card company to make sure there were no charges. I have no idea how they could still have a business license, actually they probably don't.

I have waited a longer period of time to receive the camera and when I call the merchant, they are usually closed or do not open until 11am...unacceptable. Even though I selected to receive the item via ground shipment, I am disappointed in the lack of timeliness - it has been two weeks!

Have had better experience with larger distributors. Not very happy with US1Camera. Went back to website after ordering to recheck the price on my purchase compared to the same camera that I had bought and found none listed available. They also changed the shipping from regular ground to Fedex because I complained of no tracking available for U.S. postal service. I will buy my accessories from Amazon or another larger vendor in the future which has better and quicker service.

The cost of the item purchased was less than other retail stores, however,because I live in Hawaii, the only option for shipping was next-day or two-day FEDEX or UPS. Most vendors I deal with offer USPS flat-rate shipping. That would have been a $22 savings on this order.

Merchant added an 8% "insurance" charge, so I had to renegotiate the total purchase price. This charge was not disclosed on their web site or in the order summary before I placed the order - the merchant telephoned me after I placed the order to tell me about it and to try to sell additional accessories. The Tamron lens I received is "gray market" - warranty is Japan only, not U. S. I will not do business with this on-line merechant again.

Placed the order on 12/13, and on 12/24 they cannot supply a tracking#, nor they know if it has been shipped. When I tell them I am disappointed and I am going to leave them a bad review, they threat me with cancelling my order.
Their explanations went from that the 24-72 hour processing time doesn't apply around Christmas time, and that this lenght of time is normal. He also called me a "bad person" and they are just a small company that they are trying to survive out there, and that they work every day untill 2 AM. This alternated with saying that they were cancelling my order. I guess it hasn't been shipped (after 11 days) and I still don't know if they have cancelled my order. I placed my order in the morning, and that night received a phone call saying there was a problem with the expiration date for my credit card, it came up as 2008! Now, I know I entered it correctly, since it was a drop down menu, and 2008 was not one of the choices! He started out by telling me that he would add in the "free" stuff that was advertised on the website, a camera bag, tripod, and something else (I forget what). He then proceeded to ask me which battery I wanted, not telling me that he was trying to sell me an extra battery - until I asked him about that. Then he tried to sell me an extended warranty. Finally, he asked if I wanted delivery by Christmas. The website had said 1-3 days processing, 3-9 days shipping, so the maximum time should have been 12 days, but he told me on the phone it would be 2-3 WEEKS! Unless, of course, I paid to upgrade the shipping. I declined.
The next morning, when I went to look them up on he internet to call and make sure the order was ok, the Google search came up with "US1Camera scam alert." After doing some reading, I decided to cancel the order. Despite what it said on the website, my call revealed that customer service did not open until 11 am. So, I tried calling the sales department, and they were open! I asked the rep I spoke with to cancel my order, and he did.
I then went to the website of a reputable dealer, paid $50 more, and had my camera, free shipping, in two days!
In short, in my opinion, avoid US1Camera like the plague.

The day after I placed my order, US1Camera called to say couldn't take American Express and I needed to provide another credit card. The caller then tried to sell me overpriced accessories - the price of the memory card was well above market, I declined. He then tried to sell me a battery saying the camera wouldn't work if I didn't buy a battery. A battery is included with the Canon camera. My credit card was charged immediately. It is now 9 days later and after sending one email (unanswered) and calling customer service I still have no confirmation of shipment. The day after I ordered they said it would be shipped USPS. Later Thomas of Customer Service said there was a problem and now they were shipping FedEx; he would email a tracking number but he has not sent any shipping confirmation. This merchant is trying to upsell over priced items, sell unneeded items, they switch from Amex for reasons that are unclear and they do not provide any information on shipments. I am afraid that the entire operation is highly suspect and would highly recommend everyone avoid US1camera.com.

Too much salesmanship instead of customer service. I ordered my camera with free shipping then was called and told I had to pay 16 dollars for shipping. False Advertising!!! I am filing a report against them with the Better Business Bureau. The salesman also tried to con me into buying a battery for $50 that the camera came with in the first place! Then pushed me to give him $200 for a warranty that the camera comes with. This company is a bunch of crooks.
