Giftbrand.com had a similar purse, compared to ebag.com so I chose giftbrand.com because the price was a few dollars less. At checkout, they tried to charge me 89.55 for shipping! Yes, it was international shipping, but the calculations are way off. It would cost no more than $20-$30 maximum to ship a purse overseas.
I found it shocking..and disgusting. It gets worse: 2 weeks ago I emailed them and expressed my dissatisfaction and politely asked them to review their shipping calculations. 1 week ago I tried to call the number on the website: cheap answering machine. There is no customer service!!!!! They have still yet to reply! What kind of company does that?? At this point, I fear that they are not even a real company, capable of sending any products to the customer. I refuse to give my credit card information to a company that refuses to communicate with its customers. |

Ordered an item from them because it was 159.99, compared to 190-199 elsewhere. Received an email the next day informing me that when they processed the order the price had increased to 239.99. Did I still want the item? Of course not. I find it highly unlikely that the price of an item went up by 50 percent, especially when everyone else--including the site for the manufacturer--has the price much lower. Instead, I suspect that this site deliberately posts low prices with no intention of honoring them, then hopes people will simply accept the higher price since they've spent the time and effort to place the order. My advice: don't waste your time with this site.

I ordered a triple gusset bag from them. Fair price. Fast delivery....Wrong bag.
To try and get the correct item, I've emailed them numerous times. No response. I've called the customer service line innumerable times, but the experience has been the same each time -- six minutes on hold, then transfer to voicemail, which tells you it's full, call back later. It's been two months since I've tried to reach them without luck. I'm giving up, which I suppose is what they want. This is a shady, shody business and should be avoided at all costs. |

I am most dissatisfied with Giftbrand.com. They did not ship my order until at least three or four days after they charged my account. I very clearly indicated if the product could not be received in a certain time frame I did not want it. They placed the order, waited four days, shipped and then finally sent tracking info indicating the item will not arrive in time. I have tried to e-mail them and have received no response. I have tried to call and they put you on hold for six minutes then tell you to leave a message but you cant because their system hangs up on you. I will never do business with this company again and I will warn everyone I know to stay away from them. I am also reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.

I bought a chess set from this company called Giftbrand for $85,79 (including shipping) it arrived with broken pieces so when I tried (on numerous occasions) to call them to return this item all I got was a voice mail asking me to leave my contact details. Notwithstanding they never got back to me either by phone or email and with their refund policy they refuse to allow you to return an item if it is faulty unless you get a "processing number (with a return address)" from one of their representatives. When they do NOT answer their phone or emails how does one obtain a "processing number"?? Unfortunately, the item I ordered was found to be out of stock the day after I placed the order and had already received confirmation. I was told via e-mail that I could order something else or choose to wait until it was in stock again. I called them to find out when it would be in stock, they offered to call the manufacturer and find out, then they promptly called me back. Since they found that they could not ship the product until March (well after Christmas), I chose to cancel the order and attempt to find the same product elsewhere. Assuming that they did indeed refund my credit card for the purchase price (I have not verified yet - should be on next months' statement), I am very happy with this merchant. Even though it turned out that they did not have the product I wanted (and it turns out that most merchants other than some eBay sellers have the same dilemma), they were honest, efficient, and friendly in handling my transaction. I would definitely visit and shop at their website again,

This site provided the product as shown and at the price advertised. My item was also shipped and received in a very short amount of time under the circumstancces. My only frustration was that it took several days to learn if the product was actually available. I received a message that the item had been shipped to a family member several days after I placed my order. Since it was an important gift, I was worried that I would not be able to get the item. I would advise the company to provide faster feedback to the purchaser regarding the status of the order.
