I purchased the camera I wanted for a really good price as a birthday gift for my son. Within a few days it was shipped and delivered and my son loves it. I looked for better prices on the internet and could not find anybody who could beat this one. As a matter of fact they called me to verify my credit card number and double check the shipping address. It was different from my account address because I was sending it to my son's home. I have to tell you that, if this is their standard operating procedure, I will make it a point of checking here first before making another purchase. Because the Good Guys do this I feel very confident in ordering from them. I know they will make sure that the person making the purchases is the person who "owns" the credit card. This is called "due diligence" and only credible businesses do this. I'm impressed.

I ordered an Olympus Stylus 770sw at a very reasonable price. The salesman was knowledgeable and helpful. The order was shipped via two day although I only wanted it to come via ground, so it did cost me more in the end than I was anticipating. I also bought an off brand extra battery for the camera, the jury is still out on it's durability.

Whoa, loved ordering from them! They have a very straight forward website but I preferred to speak to a live person. Not only was the price RIGHT!, the customer service person who took my order was competent. Ordered it Wed afternoon and an hour later recv'd email confirmation that it was shipped. And it was at my door Fri AM 2 days later in excellent shiny new shape, and I paid for regular shipping. Camera was packed perfectly. Although I received the wrong bag with the camera, still worth keeping so no complaints from me. And from speaking with them they sound eager to please and fix any problem.

I ordered the Canon SD870 from Good guys photo this week. I was attracted by the price but usually adhere to if it's too good to be true, it usually is. I threw caution to the wind and ordered after reading reviews on several sites. Despite the fact that I used ground shipping, 7-10 days, the camera arrived within 48 hours of my placing the order. I am floored. It was in perfect condition and contained everything that was supposed to be included.

Fast, every time. You cannot say enough Good about GoodGuys. The inventory system is accurate, and they have never canceled an order on me, even though I have bought 10 times as much through them than any other vendor. Don't buy from these guys, found the lowest price on camcorder from them and internet said was in stock. Made the purchase and then called them to find out that the camcorder is now miraculously on backorder. What a scam!

I saw a competitors add for a lower price and called Good Guys because they had the item in stock and the competitor did not. Good Guys matched the price ...and then some! They also shipped the product extremely fast, getting it here in more than enough time for Christmas. 50. I would highly recommend using Good Guys for any of your photo needs. They are a trusted merchant to deal with either on the Internet or on the phone.

My review is negative. The reason I have chosen Good Guys over the another internet sellers was simply a price. They seemed to provide the camcorder at a lowest price comparing to an others. As it turned out price of the camcorder I've purchased didn't include battery and a charger (which by the way are standard attachements). I was told that the original manufacturer's package did not include those items. I ended up paying $120 more than price listed on their web site which made that camcorder even more expensive than the one offered by a most expensive seller! delivery was OK and I don't see the reason why it shoudn't be. I paid extra for overnight delivery. The lowest price on their web site was just to lure me to them. Like I said, my total was over $100 more than what I was expected and a FACTORY SEALED BOX DID INCLUDE EQUIPMENT THAT I PAID EXTRA AS A STANDARD!!!

I have to say, I shopped EVERYWHERE for this item and after reading reviews in epinions, I hit GoodGuys for this item. It was a couple of days before the holidays, and the online stores were charging a ton for shipping and especially for rush-shipping. It was a frustrating experience. Oh, I also forgot to mention...most of the places I tried were SOLD OUT of the item. When I found it on GoodGuys and especially at that price, I thought, "this is too good to be true!" I figured that I would order it, they would charge my credit card, and sometime after the Holidays, I would be notified that they were backordered on the item. Not so. It was here the NEXT DAY. They had free ground shipping, so I went ahead and paid a little more for overnight. It was sitting on my desk at work by late morning. I tell you, whenever I look for a similiar item, I will go directly to GoodGuys photo.

This week I purchased a Nikon p5100 from GoodGuys and was extremely happy with their service. You read reviews where prices posted are not what they appear, I did not have any of this with GoodGuys. The salesperson was helpful and polite. He didn't try a hard sell on accessories either. I ordered the camera on Tuesday (2-day delivery) and the product was at my door on Thursday. I purchased a Canon Sd950 camera body. The website was incredibly informative and easy to navigate. The order process is extremely easy. The confirmation e-mail included the tracking numbers and site to go to for order tracking. The quoted shipping was 7-10 days, I received my order in 3 working days.
