I had a good experience buying my LCD TV thorugh EcomElectronics. However, after a bit more than 1 year, the very expensive Samsung TV failed me. I thought I was in luck because I had purchased an extended warranty with CPS, which was RECOMMENDED by EcomElectronics. Little did I know that CPS would do anything and everything to make the repair impossible. Based on this experience. I would say I will NEVER buy an extended warranty again. Honestly, it is more trouble than worth to have it. You end up on the phone for hours on end when you could just take the TV yourself to a repair center and get it fixed. Anyway, I am NOT impressed with ECom because they failed to offer me a good and reputable warranty company. BEWARE customer of what they are selling to you.

After 2 phone calls saying they wont ship my order until I "verify" my shipping details and the saleman trying to sell me new items over the phone instead of verifying my info then being shouted at by another saleswoman over the phone I still havent recieved any info indicating i'll every get anything for my $200

I recently ordered a 58" panasonic plasma from this website. I placed the order on saturday night. monday someone from the company called me to confirm the order, and tried to sell me some other products which I wasnt interested in. I received the t.v today, tuesday about 10 days after placing the order. It is in perfect condition and works as expected.

Price is competitive but they will call you to "confirm" some details which is a totally unnecessary sales pitch to sell you some uber-expensive things. In my case I had to wait almost 3 full days before I could return their call. I recommend not to buy here.

Communication, price and service were all top notch.  Like all tech shops, they will try to sell you extended warranties, surge protectors, cleaning cloths etc etc.  That's their job and will be the same no matter who you deal with.  Accept that as part of the sales and you'll still see that ecom is a good deal and good customer service.  I got the lowest price I could find, the shipping company was courteous (and 2 days earlier than promised).  They helped me set up the tv and check it out.  Every company has a bad sale once in a while, but this company was professional all the way and I would recommend them and do business with them any time.

I bought a Samsung LED 55" TV from eComElectronics, this model seems to be a very popular one due to it's amazingly low price. It was delivered the following week even with all the holiday's rush. The packing was well done (double boxed with the original factory seal inside). This is really a great TV, and the shipping was amazingly fast.

Now that the package arrived quickly and everything worked, but the packaging for the Notebook was a little beat up which worries me a little since I don't think you want to throw Notebooks around too much even if they are protected by the packaging. eComElectronics assured me that if anything is wrong with any part of the notebook, they will take it back at no cost to me as well as send another right away. They even sent me an email so that I would have it in writing.

I originaly ordered this same Samsung TV from 2 other stores for a lesser price. I learned that price isn't always the best way to evaluate a "good" buy! Both of these firms called me to inform me the TV was on a 4 to 5 week backorder. Since I needed the TV as a birthday gift, that was not going to work. I'll stay with online businesses that I know are reputable like eComElectronics. Plus it was still a good price! It arrived on the day they promised and I now have the TV I want at a price I like and in time for the Birthday.

It was a good experience with eComElectronics. Placed order for Samsung LN37550 lcd Tv, Received shipment within a week. I contacted eComElectronics about getting an extended warranty and got a good price on that. So the moral of this story is you get what you pay for and in this case I got a great product for a great deal.

what an experience! i purchased a TV off the website, didn't like it, used it just the once after opening it. A pleasant customer service person walked me through the return process.   I would rate them "C-".   I ordered a rather expensive samsung TV. When I called about shipping,  pressured to buy cable, power switch, etc.  Shipped two days after I ordered.  The tracking information from email HTML tag for  GEN_ICAT generic company showed "server error" for the 10 days I checked. 
  I then called customer service. Listening to 11 minutes of elevator music, then was cut off.  I then called sales, as I thought this would be a higher priority.  I am typing this evaluation while waiting and should hear from them any time.....I started in a queue of two, I hope that soon I will be able to talk to a real human!
   Twenty five minutes wasted.  Just talked to a human, and am now listening again to elevator music........  Just got switched back to customer service line, more elevator music.
    Customer representative, John, was very helpful.  This is why I rated them C-, rather than D-.

After reading many reviews of poor ordering and customer service, I tried to ensure I would have a smooth order.  Called sales and nicely asked for a supervisor to express my concern even before placing an order.  They would not give me one without an order number or specific concern, no matter how I explained.  Then called customer service asking for a supervisor or manager.  They would not give me one in customer service as they couldn't take orders, but said they would try to get me one in sales.  They transferred me directly to the regular sales associates.  I get that they can't tie up supervisory personnel with every call, but they have been elusive and not customer focused with me at every turn AND I HAVEN'T EVEN PLACED AN ORDER.  Too bad for them that they will lose my sale.  Too bad for me as they really do have the best price.  You get what you pay for!

I have ordered several times from eComElectronics. The customer service rep. that I spoke with was very helpful and courteous in giving information about the products and accessories. They have been accommodating to any request I have given them including organizing the delivery day around my schedule. Only mild criticism: you should advise people they need a HDMI cable with this product. Other than that the buying experience could not be faulted.
