I placed an order about three weeks ago and even received a confirmation email, stating delivery from 4-8 days. Till this date, I havent received my order yet,or any updates. I can't get in touch with anyone to find out what the delay is. I have called to check on the order, all I get is a voicemail (right away), I have left several messages, so far no answer..I will never order from them again, and will not recommend to any of my friends. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered a coffee table in October 2009. It arrived damaged 3 months later. I was promised a new tabletop. Months passed--no replacement. Then I was told I needed to ship the top back, so I did. More months passed--no replacement. Then I was told the table was no longer being made. So I asked for a refund. Then I was told that I needed to ship the rest of the parts back and a shipping label would be sent. TO THIS DAY (6 months) no label has been sent, no refund has been given, and the company WON'T ANSWER THE PHONE OR RESPOND TO EMAILS. I even offered to drive the parts back to their NJ location if they would give me refund.
What more can I do? I WANT MY $600 BACK!!! |

Very dissappointed so far! Bought a Global Views sunburst mirror online 3/31 and am still waiting for it! After number of calls that were never answered, spoke with someone who was going to check status and call back-never did. Finally got through online and was told it was to be shipped in 1-2 weeks. That was 3 weeks ago. Today customer service told me 2 more weeks and that it was a high demand item and they get very small inventory in-just need to wait. I've spend almost 2 months waiting so will continue but I wouldn't recomend this site. Price was fair but it doesn't much matter if you don't get the product.

P.O. Box 39 Avenel, NJ. LIVING COMFORTS, ETC. CANCELLED MY ORDER BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE A SALES/INVENTORY TRACKING SYSTEM. On 3/30/11 - I placed an order for (2) exact chairs. My order was processed and I received an e-mailed order confirmation. Note: I received NO message on my RECEIPT or CONFIRMATION that said that this item was out of stock. On 4/4/11 - I called Living Comforts Etc. to ask for a shipping date, and was then told by the Customer Service Rep that THEY cancelled my order due to the item being "Out of Stock". Why? Because their new shipment wouldn't arrive until June and would reflect a price increase of $60.00 per chair. I asked for a "manager", pleaded my case and asked that they honor their sale price and keep my order on file and not charge me the additional $120.00. He could not do that and said the best he could do was give me a 10% discount. That did NOT make me happy. I contacted this chair's manufacturer/distributor and told them about my order/vendor dispute with Living Comforts, Etc., they put me in touch with another vendor who sold me these chairs at the promo price and was a professional company to deal with. |

I have to say, I was a little worried about buying a payset from LivingComforts.com due to the reviews not being positive... But they did do everything as possible to get my order shipped out in as less time as possible and provided all the info so I can be updated. I will shop with LivingComforts.com again due to this positive experience.

This seller is terrible. They can't figure out what they shipped or when. The customer service is rude and incompetent and the inventory is unreliable. Prices are good, but you don't even get what you pay for.
Ordered 3 lights that were in stock. 3 weeks later we got 1 and the whole ordered was marked shipped and delivered. After a bunch of phone calls and emails- they had no idea what got shipped. We negotiated for almost 2 more weeks on a replacement order and that took 1 week to ship. I just got confirmation that my original order shipped again in its entirety, but a phone call to them discovered that was not true and again they did not know what was shipped or charged. Bizrate has 2500 reviews of this seller and they almosy unanimously warn against using this seller. |

I would shop here again simply for the service. I ordered a grill and it was delayed , they emailed me right away to let me know so I could choose another one. I needed some parts to fit the cut outs and one of the techs helped me pick out the right side burner for the opening and also matched a door that I needed. They were very helpful and gave very candid information regarding the brands and when I can expect delivery . I had tried ordering the same stuff from another retailer and was disappointed to learn that nothing was in stock , but Living Comforts certainly did not beat about the bush and let me know right away they were not available and suggested options that were similar.
I got all the specs emailed to me which helped in me descidig what I could use where and then I called several times with questions and concerns and got to talk to a customer service rep each time vs getting a voice mail . Finally got everything I wanted with some help and am happy to write them a good review here they certainly earned it. |

I ordered gazebo that my wife and I both liked online at LivingComforts.com. It was the DC Toscana Gazebo. We ordered it on a Monday after looking it over the weekend before and they quickly shipped it in 2 days. We received the Gazebo by the Monday after and we couldn't be happier. We now have our very own outdoor private room for our kids, family and friends to enjoy. This gazebo is well worth it and it made a beautiful addition to our backyard space. I have bolted this down on the wood deck that we have and it looks great. This gazebo also has a privacy screen so we can have a private party and make sure that it stays private. I will recommend this gazebo and LivingComforts.com to anyone.

It's been nearly 4 weeks and I still have not recieved my item. They said they have emailed me with udpates but I have gotten nothing in my inbox. Their customer service number is no help, as they always have to call the "warehouse" and get back to you, but yet they never do. Requesting a refund.

I called the company twice a week for 6 weeks and all I kept getting was "it is scheduled to ship in 3 days". When it did ship they had the wrong tracking number and I was never able to follow the item. When the grill did show up 7.5 weeks after I placed the order it was in good condition.
I called 2 other online stores and was told right up front that the grills were back ordered and not available for 2-3 wks. Never got a response to my 2 emails to linging comforts either. About the only good thing is that they did not charge my CC until a week prior to shipment.

I placed an order with this company, and paid for it using paypal. It is now four weeks later, and still no product delivery, and no e-mails or phone calls to explain why the delay.
I would say that this company's cutomer service is horrible, but that comment I feel is far too complimentary. I would rather sit in a room and listen to the rantings of my X wife and her lawyer, than to do business with living comforts again. |

Lets see. Where to begin. Placed an order on a "in stock" item via the telephone at a sale price. About a week later I was left a message because they failed to ask what metal finish was wanted. Another two to three weeks later I called to follow up, only to find out that they lost my payment information in a power outage. I reorder this "in stock" item and they actually granted me the previous monthes sale price. I actually get an email confirmation this time. Two weeks later I called to following up on this "in stock" item. They tell me that they do not have it in stock, and cannot get it anymore. Yet I was told that is was in stock both times I submitted payment information.
Summary: -They did not deliver -They did not gather necessary order information to place first order -While they did leave a message regarding finish and lost payment information, the bottom line is they lied about their inventory. I do not tolerate lying. That puts their customer service at the lowest. -Overall I was completely dissatisfied |

Worst online shopping experience ever. I have not received my couch and they refuse to give me a refund and it has been over two months. They made up many lies on why my couch was not delivered: it was stolen, it was defective, it is not in stock, and then could not look for it while they did their year-end inventory. Every time I call customer service, they first say they will call me back, which they never have done. Then they send me the same tracking information they sent me originally, which does not provide any information because UPS has no record of them sending the couch.

The woman who is "customer service" is rude and borderline abusive, their website offers products that no longer exist and even after I pointed that out, they failed to remove them. Orders that can no longer be filled take over a week to let you know that fact. Just a horrible experience all around.

They just canceled my order, I had to write them to ask why. and they were a couple of days to respond, but finally did. They said that the item was not able to be shipped to Canada, even though on their web site there is no mention of this. they even have shipping rates posted for shipping their products to Canada. Just a waste of time and the head ache of going through the whole pay pal transaction, then refund etc... Then making sure all this has cleared before ordering the same product from an other merchant. All could have been avoided if they posted a warning on their website about their ability/inability to ship to Canada.

They took my money as soon as I completed the online transaction (it cleared my credit card). Now, however, they are insisting 3 business weeks delay before shipment. It looks to me like they took my $, won't ship the products, and I will have no recourse through my credit card company except to pay for something I have not received. I am deeply, deeply disappointed about this online transaction and I have never felt as badly about any online company before. And I hope I will never have to feel this badly again.
