I buy from these guys all the time! The four payment system is always a great incentive. Almost every big-ticket item I buy for my gigs I get from them. Their prices are always as good or better than everybody else and they normally have whatever I need in stck and it ships right away. A couple of years ago I purchased a Sure wireless system from them and crapped out after about 3 weeks. They did a cross shipment for me under their 30 day program and I was up and running again in 2 days at no cost to me.

When conducting research on where I could get the best buy on a Yamaha DGX-530 digital piano, zZounds came up with having the best price.  Even though I was reluctant to use them since I was not familiar with them (had done most of my shopping in places like Musician's Friend), I thought I would take the chance and give them a chance at my order.  Not only did I save a bundle by selecting zZounds, the shipping experience was flawless.  Delivered when they said they would, even though when I was notified that the delivery would be made on a Saturday, I didn't believe it.  However, it arrived on Saturday, delivered by the nicest FedEx driver that brought it into the house for me.  So, THANK YOU zZounds for a great experience.  I can't wait to shop for my next musical item.  It was my first experience and certainly not my last.

I bought a replacement sustain pedal for my Yamaha keyboard. I received good service at a good price and am happy with my purchase.  Shipping costs were reasonable and delivery was well within the estimated time.

The only caveat is that since ordering from them their ads show up on nearly every popular website that I visit.  That's annoying.  That's why I rated their overall performance above above average instead of excellent.

I have made a few recent purchases with Zzounds, a Fender Telecaster, a Pickup and a Case. My experience with Zzounds has been excellent, unfortunately I'm unhappy with the guitar. I feel confident that Zzounds would gladly help fix the issue, but bummed with Fender's quality control!!!

Found a great deal on a returned item which was discounted an additional 10% below their already incredible low price. Had some concerns purchasing a "repackaged" item but figured I could return it if I had any problems. I received my product promptly and in perfect condition. There was absolutely no issues with the item, simply a return. Couldn't beat the original price, let alone 10% off, no sales tax and free shipping. Awesome place to buy your music gear.

I've been a Zzounds customer for years and have yet to be disappointed.  Prices are consistently as low as anywhere else online or local.  I have yet to use the pay-as-you-play option they're known for, but it's good to know they have it available if I ever need it.

A week ago, after searching and comparing prices for an expensive studio control surface, I placed my most recent order with Zzounds. I ended up receiving a slightly different model than I had ordered (due to a manufacturer's error that couldn't have been avoided).  Zzounds went way out of their way to get me the correct, updated model overnight at their expense.  I had product in hand the next day and was able to use it for the marathon mixing sessions I had the coming week.  Hard to compete with that kind of service anywhere.

I'm really glad I found zZounds! My Bass player reccomended them to me, and I'm stoked with the results. I was able to purchase the mixer I wanted and all the mic cables I needed to mic up my drum kit fast, and with a payment plan without interest! It's good to know that zZounds is there, it's a lot like having that private, independent music store experience with the big chain prices.

EXCELLENT!!!  Online purchase was a breeze...once my products (MII FTRACKPRO and MII KEYRIG49) arrived I wasn't able to install the drivers (I have Windows Vista).  I almost returned all of my gear thinking that my OS was not compatable with my products.  When I contacted customer support to let them know I wanted to exchange my goods the extremely professional and helpful staff provided a link to M-Audio to install the correct drivers; the link and subsequent driver installation worked perfectly.  I was able to get my gear up and running in a matter of minutes. 


Very rapid response and great customer support!!!  Plus they offer pay to play!!!  This single act may have made me a ZZounds customer for life...Musician's Friend better watch out!

I just recently started purchasing from zZounds because of their "pay as you play" plan.I like the fact that the reps are knowledgeable,polite and helpful.My order was delayed by five days due to Fedex holidays.in fact that would be my only complaint,the fact that they ship through Fedex but then again you can't really complain about free shipping.A larger selection would be nice as well,but they do carry a lot of nice stuff.One guitar from my order was backordered by 2 weeks but when it arrived i was pleasantly surprised to find that it had upgraded pickups from the ones that were listed.all in all well worth the wait! :) I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to purchase gear,especially if they could benefeit from the payment plan.i look forward to making many more purchases in the near future...I'm fairly certain that they will be the recipients of my every spare penny for the forseeable future!lol.

I searched all over EBAY & AMAZON, and couldn't find what I was looking for at a "Reasonable Price". My purchase was for * 2 25ft 1/4 Male to Male Guitar Cables *.....while others offered 18ft Cables - the Price for 1 Cable was around $18 to $20....so, Imagine my surprise & delight when I was able to find  2 CABLES 25FT FOR UNDER $23.00!!

How could I pass up such a great Bargain? To get 2 for the price of 1, and, even longer cables??...Nope, too good to pass up, so I jumped on it. These weren't some GENERIC BRAND - NO.....they were actually made by "HOT WIRES"....and that's a NAME BRAND!!

From now on, I'll always rely on ZZOUNDS for all my Equipment needs!

In the beginning everything was very good ... variety of products, good prices, good speed of delivery .... but in customer service I had the worst experience ever!!! I got an equipment with problens and I did make contact at the same day to complain about it...Zzounds did not accept the equipment and transfered the problem for me saying that I should make contact with the company (Pioneer)...it was really a bad day for me!!! I will never buy at Zzounds again...never!!!
I called the customer service a lot of times and each time I got a different information from the employees. When I called Pioneer they said to me..."They have to provide you another equipment I do not know the reason that they recomended you to call us !!!" According to pioneer  Zzounds had to exchange it or refound my money back...So I spend hours back and forth it was really frustrating...I dont recomend Zzounds for anybody!!!

Zzounds is truly a top notch, musicians dream come true. Not only will they do price matched they will help a regular guy like me out by giving me the option of 4 easy payments. I had previously bought product from them and found that it was not really what I was looking for and was able to return it without any trouble what so ever.
In both cases when I have ordered from them the ordered was processed quickly and ht eitem was recieved in perfect condition. Zzounds is also the only online music store I have recommended to friends that are looking for product. Sure, there is a music store right around the corner (Guitar Center) but every time I go in there it's like walking into a 3 Stooges flick.
