I ordered some Phillips DLP TV lamps from Discount TV Lamps (Discount Merchant). The transaction was cleared as of December 14, 2011 and the item arrived on January 7th, 2012… 3.5 weeks??!! I called several times but unfortunately wasn’t able to get in touch with anyone and therefore had to leave a number of messages. When I finally got a hold of someone, they gave me excuses to why the processing time was delayed and why the package hasn’t been shipped. On another note: I provided an alternate credit card, requesting that it be charged to the new credit card provided and they still charged it on the original credit card. Before I order from here, I would think twice about purchasing from this company.

Recently I orderered DLP lamp for my ToshibaTV. The lamp was delivered relatively fast, but the right housing braket with screw was broken. Called customer service, they told me that I need to send lamp back ( free of charge) and they will send me replacemtn lamp. I did as it was instructed, about 3 weeks later received replacement lamp. Opened it and was very surprised, it seems that it was carbon copy of the first lamp, or even it was my first lamp.
Contacted customer service again and asked how it is possible for me to get twice broken lamp when they checking all package before sending.
They offer me the same process as first time, then I asked if I can get replacement immedialy while they will be waiting for defective lamp, was told this is not a company policy. Asked if they can offer me any discount or some kind of appesement for sending 2 defective lamps, there answer was NO. Talked to supervisor the same result. Requested my money back and went to get lamp from different company.

First, I would like to say that while considering this site to purchase a DLP replacement lamp, I was leary on buying from this site because of the low price. Selling for nearly half the cost of other major retailers, I was thinking it might be a refurbished lamp. I called up and spoke with their reps and found them rather informative. I was informed that the lamp I was looking into was brand new so I placed my order midday on a Mon and received it on Wed afternoon!! Talk about speedy service! It was delivered via UPS. The package came intact and extremely well cushioned. They sell Phillips lamps and the replacement bulb is as bright if not brighter than the last bulb which was replaced under OEM warranty!! The lamp is rated to last 6000-8000 hrs. Compared to the others that lasted about 2500 & 4500 hrs. So time will tell if the lamp will hold up to expectations. Very happy with the product, company and service. Will definitely use site again!

Horrible customer service!

Do not buy anything from this Merchant! They sent the wrong part and its taking four days to try and get my correct part.  Customer service reps are clueless and Managers refuse to talk with customers. 

I'd demand a refund but at this rate it would take a month!

Very disappointed. I ordered a replacement TV bulb for my father in law's TV. His bulb went out on the TV and he needed it for the weekend for a big NBA playoff game. We purchased it on Wednesday evening. Website said that if purchased before 11:00 AM, shipment would go out same day. We paid to have bulb overnighted by Fed Ex to arrive on Friday. Got our shipping confirmation e-mail on Thursday. They did not have Fed Ex pick up the package until Friday, so overnight shipping was pointless since my Father-In-Law will not get the bulb until Monday. Called the company and they blamed Fed Ex for a problem on their end, even though the tracking through Fed Ex clearly states it wasn't picked up until Friday. They did offer to credit the difference on the shipping, but that doesn't do us a lot of good now that the bulb won't be there until Monday. Will not do business with this company again.

Terrible customer service...DM shipped the wrong part number...They first accused me of ordering the wrong part...they finally agreed that my order was correct and they shipped the wrong part number... on phone 45 minutes...cut off once....."Customer NO Service Rep " put me on hold 8 times ....had to "check with supervisor" every step of the process...I had to demand they pay for return shipping....they refused to authorize expedited shipping on the replacement part...

I ordered a replacement lamp for my Sony TV through the Amazon website on Monday and received the lamp the next day by 12 NOON.  Fantastic service. 

Although I paid for one day service, the original Amazon delivery estimate was a range of dates from Wednesday - Thursday, so I called customer service to find out how quickly I would get the item.  They quickly found the order in Amazon's pending status.  Customer service said that they would personally monitor this order and as soon as it cleared they would get it picked and shipped.  Not only that, they called me on my cell phone to confirm the order's status.

I highly recommend these guys!

I ordered a DLP lamp on a Sunday and requested overnight shipping.  Acoording to their site anything placed by 3p PT will ship same day, so I expected this to go out Monday and arrive Tuesday.  By midday Tuesday the website still indicated the order was "in process" and hadn't shipped.  I spoke to customer service and they said the order "should" ship that day.  Tuesday night nothing had changed.  I called again, and was informed the part was actually out of stock and due in Wednesday.  They offered to refund $5 of the $25 overnight shipping charge, but still couldn't promise it would ship Wednesday.  I asked them to cancel the order, which they agreed to.  I then checked my credit card online, and found they had already charged my credit card.

AVOID THESE GUYS!  Their customer service said I would receive my item by Wednesday if I upgraded (for 12$) to two-day shipping.  When I didn't receive my tracking number, I called back the next day only to find out they hadn't shipped it yet, and now I would be receiving it on Thursday (when my office would be closed).  They then refused to send it next day (unless I paid), and they didn't care I was lied to.

Ordered (2) new lamps for my 65" Mitsubishi on Tuesday, arrived Friday via USPS. Ordering was a breeze, and the salesperson was very courteous and helpful. Not only did I get a great price (lowest I could find for bulb & Enclosure), but I also received a discount for ordering two as well as free shipping. No need to look elsewhere... this place will have all my future business! Oh... and the lamp worked perfect, had TV up and running in less than 5 minutes.

What a great experience!  Ordered late on Thursday.  The rep went the extra mile to be certain that the item was in stock and that I could get delivery by Saturday.  I paid for expedited shipping, of course.  BUT the order arrived Friday morning!!  Wow.  That means they went the extra mile to get my order shipped that night and I had it the next morning.  Couldn't ask for better service, and the price was also the best I could find!!!!!  As a veteran internet shopper, I was REALLY impressed.

3 defective color wheels in a row, 2 were missing the protective cable sheath! Almost had to yell to get the 3rd one sent out (it broke within 10 mins of use), even after I sent pics showing how the 2nd wheel had no connection points. Looking at other reviews, this seems to be an issue w/ others as well. :(

It was easy to order the part since we had the part number.  The price was half the retail at our local Sears dealership.  The order was processed and delivered to our mailbox in 2 shipping days.  It was ordered online on Sat. and delivered on Mon.  The website was user friendly and the item we received was the correct item we ordered.  Got e-mail confirmation immediately after we ordered an it was shipped same day with our tracking number and USPS tracking link.  Will definetly do business with this company again.

This store has the absolute best prices on everything!
I needed a lamp for my Mitsubishi HDTV since my old one burnt out, and I shopped around a dozen or more sites for the best prices and they had it.
Also their attention to offering top notch customer service is second to none.
Shipping prices are reasonable, the order was package well so it would not be damaged in transit and I recieved my order in only 2 days!

Great information about the lamp I need for my RCA HD LP TV.  Detailed instructions with pictures are wonderful.  Much cheaper to buy just the lamp vice the entire assembly.  Sells only original Phillips manufactured lamps - very important for the operation of the TV.  Excellent set-up for ordering with prompts for missing info.  Will write again when order is received. I ordered a bulb for my Samsung DLP T.V. after determining that I could use my existing enclosure per the instructions from D-M. They help you save even more money by showing you how to replace the bulb in just a few minutes in your existing enclosure.Very fast service too. It was shipped the same day I ordered. I ordered a bulb for my SamSung DLP tv... The bulb was flaky, sometimes worked and sometimes not...I called there customer service, and they sent be replace bulb asap, and it came with the bulb cage at not charge... There shipping was fast, and the customer services was excellent. Will order again for sure.
