RIPOFF ARTISTS - TOOK MY MONEY WHEN THERE WAS NO PRODUCT AVAILABLE

I AM HORRIFIED AFTER READING THESE REVIEWS. I ORDERED 15 ITEMS THAT WERE SUPPOSED TO BE IN STOCK. THE WEBSITE LET ME ORDER AND PAY FOR THESE ITEMS. WHEN I STARTED TO PRINT THE RECEIPT, IT SAID OUT OF STOCK FOR THE ITEMS. I IMMEDIATELY WENT TO MY BANK ACCOUNT, AND THE MONEY WAS ALREADY GONE OUT OF MY ACCOUNT. I HAVE SENT 4 EMAILS, AND THE PHONE NUMBER IS A JOKE. IT SAYS ALL AGENTS ARE BUSY-LETS YOU LEAVE A MESSAGE. HAVEN'T HEARD BACK FROM THAT EITHER. I GUESS SOON IT WILL BE LEGAL ACTION TIME !!!

Confirmed order was overcharged, not fully delivered and we were ignored by Customer Service.

We placed an order in early February 2010 for a LaSpaziale Vivaldi S2 Espresso machine, a Gaggia Grinder, a Juan Commercial Knock box, 2 Endurance Pitchers (5oz), a Stainless Steel Milk Frothing Pitcher (12 oz).
Only the Espresso machine and the Gaggia grinder were ever delivered. We have not yet received the Knock box, the 2 Pitchers (5oz), the   Milk Frothing Pitcher or the free coffee that was promised with the order.
The total for our confirmed order was to be $2,300.30, however, our credit card was charged with 2 separate charges of $2,195.00 and $299.00 which already totals $2494.00 for only 2 items delivered.
We were overcharged on the agreed and contracted rate and have received only partial delivery of our order to date.
When we contacted Zaccardi's Customer service by the only manner possible, email, they referred us to fine print on another page on the website and told us it didn't matter what the confirmed order stated, they could charge the amounts that appeared on our card.
We responded asking them to honor the confirmed order and our various email requests have been ignored since then.

Called Zaccardi's about a demo Nuova Semonelli Oscar Esprersso Machine and told it was a final sale and did not include a plastic tamp or coffee scoop. I ordered the unit and received it within 3 days only to discover the Porta-Filter handle, filters, spring, & spouts were missing. A phone call, email to customer service ( a misnomer) caused shipment of the handle and filters minus the spring(s) and spouts. Another phone call, an additional email reply and to date nothing. Never again!

Worst experience EVER! I've been robbed!

HORRIBLE!!!!! I placed an order 3 weeks ago and paid for overnight shipping. 3 weeks is not overnight! Days after I placed the order they emailed me stating that one of the items was back-ordered and that they wouldn't send a partial order so I had to wait for them to receive the back-ordered item before they would ship. Apparently this is Bull because they sent me part of my order (including the back-ordered item), but not the $750.00 espresso machine I ordered. They did not provide a reason why on the invoice. When I call I get a recording telling me to email customer service. When I email they don't respond. Also, in an email they sent me they showed my entire credit card number and expiration date. If this isn't illegal it should be! This is the most frustrating online purchase I have ever made.

Great products and wonderful customer service

I ordered several items for the holidays, some for myself and some as gifts. Right after placing my order I called customer service to make a change - no problem - they were very helpful and very nice. I got the order right away. Later, when I had to return one gift, I filled out the online form and got a response right away with my return instructions. I like the selection of quality products and will definitely shop here again!!

By the way, the gift baskets I sent as gifts were very well received by the recipients. They loved the coffee and cookies!

Zaccardi's are Terrible , this company MUST be inspected by some ONLINE VENDORS Authorities at least!! Order was placed in Dec.17th/2007 ( of course paid Instantly by Credit Card )incorrect model of Espresso Machine arrived on 12/31/2007( wrong model: paid $258 - received $208 Model , was OBVIOUSLY used scuffs & scratches ) Placed phone Call(on day of arrival)to "Customer Service" explaining FACTS since then still NO ANSWER on simple return procedures ( no label , no return address ) so called "SUPERVISORS" of customer Service for those ONLINE PIRATES either give vague explanations of "return procedures" or simply UNAVAILABLE. NO alternate phone numbers or contact INFO for this strange company.How difficult it should be to obtain simple Item Return INFO & get money Back?!?!? Today is Jan.2008 and another leading to NO WHERE phone call was placed and still same - please wait for e-mail from (mysterious) warehouse to get return INFO. To ANYONE who is considering purchasing from Zaccardi's - BE AWARE and read previous REVIEW Postings. Zaccardi's are a DISREPUTABLE company.

Shopping at zaccardis was a great experience. their product info is always complete and very helpful. Most communication was done by email, which was answered quickly and helped with most questions. However, when more technical details were needed for a high-end espresso machine, i spoke to someone who was very helpful, very experienced and very knowledgeable. their prices are very competitive and most beat all others. the shipping and turnaround time was quick and accurate. I was notified almost immediately when my product was backordered, and then notified again when it shipped. This was a great store to shop at. After my first order, i had great confidence in placing my additional order every time.

I love this company. I was a complete novice when ordering an espresso machine for my company. The customer service people were very knowledgeable and very patient. The machine we received (very promptly) is perfect for our requirements. I would use Zaccardis again - in fact, I am ordering coffee from them right now!!!

Excellent buying experience! Customer service people are very nice and helpful. They knew quite a bit about the espresso machines and really helped me make a great buying decision. I called several times and never had a problem reaching someone (they are open 9am to 9pm). The price was great and I got some nice bonus gift with my machine - great coffee!! They have a beautiful catalog that came with my order - I will definitely be buying from them again!

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Zaccardi's falsely advertised a trifle bowl on their website, sending me a different one than ordered. They now expect me to pay for the return shipping. Their returns dept. does not accept phone calls so all communication must be done via email -- it takes them a week to respond each time. In speaking with their customer service dept, they tell me that it is my problem and I need to work it out with their returns department -- this comment came from a Zaccardi's manager! I strongly advise against ordering from Zaccardi's -- if you have any issue with the product you receive, it becomes your problem, not Zaccardi's. As another customer mentioned.....many other reputable companies offer the exact same products. I found the trifle bowl (as falsely advertised by Zaccardi's) with another internet vendor -- and at a lower cost!!

Ridiculous shipping costs, poor customer service.

I was very disappointed with Zaccardi's customer service. I received my stove-top milk steamer which was defective (a gasket was popping out), returned it and was charged $10.00+ shipping each way. That's almost $22.00 shipping on a defective $46.00 item. They say the steamer is not defective and will probably repeat this transaction with the same item with other customers. That's quite a racket.

I was extremely pleased with Zaccardi's online shopping - they notified me promptly, shipped promptly and they offered 30-day return policy on the coffeemaker I ordered. I also received free shipping and free coffee with my order.
