Home Security Store sold me two previously opened boxes with parts missing in both. If this were a face-to-face transaction this type of dishonesty would/could not occur - you could see they were taking advantage of you. But on the web, apparently, being dishonest is OK for the Home Security Store. When I commented about this on their Facebook page they removed their page entirely! I'm guessing this is the only way they can respond effectively - digging deeper into the low ground they've already established. I would not recommend doing business with this store. They are worse than the sneak-thieves they purport to discourage with their security products.

I bought a battery for my home security system from the Home Security Store and I was very pleased with my purchase. The customer service was very helpful to me while making my purchase and the item arrived very quickly. The customer service agent I spoke with gave me very helpful information about the other products I wanted and made sure I really ordered only what I needed instead of letting me order stuff I did not need. My shopping experience at Home Security Store Online Store was extremely pleasant.  It was just outstanding, simple, and an excellent value!  I bought a wireless home security system, and they had the lowest price online.   
I also purchased a solar charged light for my home security yard sign.  I absolutely love this thing!  I think it is a great theft deterrent since my security yard sign is visible at night.  They had a great online promotion too, if you used Google checkout.
Their shipping was prompt and packaged appropriately.  Their site was very informative, and easy to navigate.  Overall, I would recommend the Home Security Store Online Store for your home security needs.

Deivery speed was excellent: I received in two days.
Initially I had some issues with the package I received for two reasons. First, the backup battery was bad and second the siren I received was not the right one (it was a speaker and not a siren).
The initial customer service was not too great since when I called about the backup battery, I was told to package it to the best I can and ship it to them in order to receive another battery.
Once I found out the siren was bad also, I called them again. This time they sent out a replacement siren and battery without waiting for me to ship back the battery and the speaker. they also included a UPS return postage.

Once I installed the new battery and the siren, everything worked out great. Overall the product is very good and I am pretty happy at this time.  
I did get inconsistent response from a couple of calls I made to them. It would greatly enhance customer satisfaction if I get same response each time.

Have shopped at the Security store since back in 2001 when my house was built.  They helped me with designing my alarm system back then and provided such a good experience that I had to come back.  My home was broken into and keypads torn out and broken so i have to replace parts called them up and they helped me with getting the keypads that were compatible with my system all I did was plug new ones in and I was ready.  Thanks for all your help.

I spent quite a bit of time both on the phone and the online chat talking with their sales reps to design my security system the way I wanted it.  When I ran into issues installing it, I was able to get someone on the phone quickly who was very knowledgeable and helped me get everything straightened out.  Their online forum is also very helpful.

I was able to find some components a little cheaper elsewhere, but their support more than makes up for the price difference!

Internet searches for replacement batteries for alarm systems resulted in Home Security Store with the widest selection and best prices. Locating the appropriate replacement battery for my system was fairly easy - there is an entire section for replacement batteries on the website. Experienced no issues with ordering or delivery. All in all, a simple, cost-effective online purchase.

At first I was hesitant about ordering from a new source.  I have been burned in the past so I try to do research and use caution.  I found exactly what I was looking for at a price lower than I expected to pay.  The shipping costs were reasonable so I took the chance.  When my order arrived,
