This is the fourth bad experience with jcwhitney ive ordered parts before it took two months to recieve the part when i got the part it was the wrong on i sent it back iand i didnt hear from them for more then month they were supposed to resent the right part then another month later still no part i called and had my money refunded the second and third time i ordered different parts they were out of stock i kept asking when they would be instock and they would never reply back to emails so i called and they said they would call me as soon as they recieved the item then still no call the fourth time i ordered a part didnt recieve the part for 2 and half months then when i recieved it it was cratched up and poorly packed i dont plan on ordering any parts from jcwhitny again i would suggest you do the same enless that is you want to wait 2 months to recieve a broken part or wrong item.

I originally ordered a set of all weather floormats as a Xmas gift for a family member. About 10 days after ordering, I receive a box with only the rear floormats inside. I called JC Whitney only to be told that they were not sure when the front set

On sale items sold out on a regular basis (just a scam to attract business) extremely poor customer service, rude, unfriendly and not knowledgeable staff, search feature sucks and most of all these people will lie to you just to get you off the phone.

I ordered five wheels for my Jeep on October 31, 2011. I was told by the customer serice representative that the wheels were in stock. On November 11, 2011 I still haven't received them so I contacted JC Whitney. All they can tell me is that they are checking with vendors to see if the wheels are available. Then they told me that the wheels are not in stock at all. They had no probem taking my money though. What a crappy company. Buyer beware

I will NEVER purchase anything from them again! I ordered some rin guards for a truck. WHen we got the part it was the incorrect part. So I returned it, at my expense, following the company's procedures on the website, and they only refunded me the cost of the part fter about 3 weeks. I called and spent 1 hour on the phone arguing that I wanted all of my money back because they sent me the wrong part. It has now been over 6 weeks and they still haven't refunded all the money. They also told me they were re-ordering the correct part for me and now I found out they never placed that order. No one bothers to call or email or anything to help me figure this out and no one apologizes.

JC Whitney sent a product that was different than the picture online so I returned the item. Well this where they got me. I paid $16 in shipping initially but in returning it they charged me an additional $26, which they automatically took off my refund.
So I got the wrong item, a lot of frustration with customer service then I ended up paying $42 for absolutely nothing. After seeing only half of the refund expected, I called customer service for an explaination. The unhelpful customer services woman explained their wonderful shipping and refund policy. They milk you if you are returning an item and have no interest in helping you understand the logic or reasonableness of the extra fees. She informed me it was written on the return label. It must have been in fine print because I never saw it. I will not return to shop with them or recommend them to anyone. JC Whitney may have decent prices but their customer service is really bad and their return policy is the worse I have ever heard of. Stay away! |

I ordered a set of handlebars on 7-1-11 They shipped them to the wrong address. The post office caught it and returned the package to them. I contacted customer service she said when they got the package back they would re ship them to the correct address. I told the lady i needed them bad. I checked back 10 days they still have not recieved the package from fed x That was a few days ago. Since it was their fault not mine you would think they would have sent me a set. So far its been 19 days last time it took 9 days to get to my local post office plus it would of taken 1 more for delivery so it will be over a month adleast . Think i will just cancel the order I would gladly spend a few bucks more then have to deal with all this

I ordered 2 gallons of Herculiner™ bed liner to seal the top of my camper. Ordered on 7-15-2011 and paid overnight FED-X shipping. Orders received before 3pm were supposed to ship "same day" .... with over-night charges order was $283.96. Due to the weekend sealer delivery was due on Monday 7-18-2011. Shipping didn't happen for three days and order was not shipped overnight. 4-5 day overland projected delivery at 7-22. Overnight was not used as requested and paid in advance. We leave with our camper on 7-20, leaky roof and all. JC Whitney botched delivery, customer service was slow and unresponsive when asked for delivery information. Not very professional compared to other on-line auto part stores. A bad experience ..I'm one very disappointed customer.

Well I wanted to get myself a grille/brushguard for my bronco ii. Shopped around for alittle bit, and found an inexpensive one that i thought would look good on my bronco ii. It said it would, didnt say anything about out of stock or anything along those lines. I ordered it. BIG MISTAKE. I ordered it on May 26, 2011 and they gladly took the money out of my account. Shipping said 5-9 days. So i waited and waited and waited. Nothing showed up. Never got an email, phonecall, letter, or anything. Finally i called them up and was told that it is currently our of stock. They told me they would send me one in 4-7 days. Today i checked the status online. Now it says it wont ship til August 7th!!! I am not a satisfied customer at all. Time for them to get another phone call. The current date is July 8th, 2011. I am not going to wait another month.

Horrible. I ordered seat covers for my 2009 Toyota Tacoma, First they took a month to ship the product then when they finally did ship it they didn't fit. To make it even worse, they will not allow me to return them. So Im out over $200 and I have seat covers that don't fit.

AWFUL! I paid for an item they described as in stock, and three weeks later have yet to receive the item, or any information whatsoever. Three emails to customer service have gone unanswered. I will NEVER order from them again, and would not reccomend them to anyone.

I PURCHASED 2 REPAIR QUARTER PANELS FOR MY 95 ACCORD THAT STATED IN BOLD PRINT 100% GUARANTEED TO FIT, SATISFACTION GUARANTEED. WHEN I EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT THEY WERE DEFINITELY NOT DIRECT FIT AND I HAVE THE PICS TO PROVE IT THEY BLAMED THE PROB ON THEIR SUPPLIER AND SUPPOSIDELY SENT ME A WHOPPING $25 GIFT CERT FOR THE INCONVENIENCE. THIS ERROR COST ME AN EXTRA $100 PER SIDE AND 2 EXTRA DAYS WITH A RENTACAR. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE I WROTE A REVIEW ON THEIR SITE TO LET OTHERS KNOW SO THEY WON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AND IT WAS NEVER POSTED SO I HAD TO FIND ANOTHER ROUTE TO LET PPLE KNOW. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THIS IF YOU SAY YOUR PRODUCT IS GUARANTEED TO FIT MAKE SURE IT IS. FOR ALL I KNOW OTHERS COULD'VE HAD THE SAME PROB BUT JC NEVER POSTED THEIR REVIEWS. JC Whitney — I have not ordered from JC Whitney in some time and I can see why. This company has possibly the worst customer service I have ever encountered.
They just keep changing the order date everyday like that's going to appease you. Numerous emails unanswered....What do they do? Just send all coorespondence to the junk mail box? I don't know if I ever will get this resolve but it will be a cold day in "you know where" before I ever order from this company again. People avoid at all cost! |

It felt low-budget, overall. Order tracking with Fed Ex was vague and inaccurate at best. Fed Ex even had the last leg of my first parcel arrive by U.S. Mail, for inexplicable reasons (which parcel looked the part). J.C. Whitney should improve its shipping / tracking service to its customers.

Could not beleive how fast the Hitch was delivered, Almost like they knew in advance I was going to order the product and had it sitting in a local warehouse.
On a side not, The Hitch fit perfectly, and I also ordered a T coupler for the wiring and if I may make a suggestion the lead from the left taillight to the "T" box could be about 6" longer for ease of mounting and keeping away from the exhaust pipe, and longer zip fasteners would also help and more of them.

Items were nice, but recieved 1 damaged, had to return it to the company. After shipping it back, we called to check the status. I was informed that they had recieved it but it would take 2-3 days to make sure it was damaged.
It was obviously damaged through shipping and I fell it is not right that it will take 3 days to check it. I paid for the item and they have my money. SO they should make it a higher priority.
