I am favorably impressed with Air & Water.  I ordered my Soleus heater on the afternoon of one day and received it on the afternoon of the next day!!  I was so pleased.  The heater was everything that they said it was and the reviews on their website were accurate and very helpful.  They get A+ for their good website, the ease of ordering and paying, and their delivery speed.  I will use them again in the future.   It was so much easier buying this online than it would have been going to a box store - and I saved money on gas, because I didn't have to drive.

Everything was great until we opened the gift meant for my husband after Christmas and found it to be badly dented on one side and rusted on the bottom. It looked like it had been used. The box had no damage to it, so whoever possibly restocked it if it had been a return and/or packed it up for us did so knowing it was damaged. I would have given fewer stars, however the returns customer service was great. You are supposed to report damage within 7 days, however given this was a Christmas gift we had it wrapped up in our home for much longer than this. They said not a problem and accepted it for return. Luckily I had purchased an item that had free shipping from and to so no cost on our part. They even gave me an option to have FedEx come pick up the item, which was great given the box noted it was 75 pounds. I decided to do an exchange, since I had spent such a long time researching wine coolers and this was a highly rated item with a great price and exactly what my husband was looking for. I was informed they usually send out replacements immediately. Unfortunately, we have to wait until February until another is in stock. Hopefully this time it will be in good shape.

I would only order if Air and Water would ship by UPS. FedEx sent the package to Weldon, inspite of directions given on 11/28. No wonder it was late--it went over the Sierras and then back! FedEx lied on their tracking site several times. No merchant or purchaser has to put up with this. I have rarely purchased anything but airline tickets and this experience was certainly an eye-opener.

The unit arrived in the package intact. However, my husband found the window kit missing so we had to call the sale. We received the kit promptly after a week, however, it wasn't long enough to cover our window. Since the product description online didn't state the length of the window kit we just assumed that it would cover any size of window. So be sure to measure your window before ordering the unit. Otherwise, you will need to buy an extra window kit as we were told by the sale rep. The first time we turned on the air conditioner we noticed the digital temperature display looked odd--it showed 00. At first we thought it meant 100 degree, but the outside temp was in the 90s. So something was not right. After some button-pushing, we realized that the display doesn't show the middle lines. Therefore, 88 becomes 00. Other than that, the unit works great. It cools the bedroom really fast.

The only room for improvement is to provide the customer a tracking number to track the shipment. I never received one and expected my shipment in 3 - 5 business days. After the 4th day, I had to call Air & Water to inquire. I also called on the 6th day, in which they told me it would deliver that day. In total, the shipment took 6 business days and a weekend. Bottom line - expectation management....keep the customer informed. Had I received tracking information from the very beginning, I would have been informed.
