Made a telephone purchase to Zzounds of a recent product put out in the world market by Casio. Since I still do not trust entering my credit card info on websites. The purchase was made very fast and I felt relaxed since I was given over the phone all the detailed specifications of the product and of the delivery service. It was done in no time and I felt much better than with all the process of entering numbers and letters on a keyboard and of clicking the mouse. Since there was communication with a real person, it felt assuring that my purchase was processed instead of waiting on the computer to respond that all the information was entered correctly. I recieved the purchase with the time frame given upon purchase. The product was opened and tested. All worked perfectly, as expected upon purchase the specifications that were as given during the telephone communication. Since I recieved attention from customer support, I will continue to buy products from Zzounds in the future and would give a word of recommendation to anyone interesed in buying the products they sell.

I put my heavy looseleaf music book on the stand and it started to collapse. The supporting bracket was too flimsy. vendor offered to credit purchase upon return, but I had to pay shipping. Item cost was $17 and shipping was almost $9 so I just wrote it off.

I found Zzounds site about 3 or 4 years ago. EVERYONE at Zzounds are excellent at what they do! Your order always arrives on time and in pristine condition and their customer support is the best, period! I ordered a Blemished Beringer PMP5000 20 channel mixer Last weekend. It arrived (on time) last night. I opened the box only to find a wet, destroyed box with bubble wrap that wasn't sufficient enough as the left side where the handle is was bent badly and the left side was split-open! It had another shipping label on the inside box, looked like it was returned to them previously. It had an unwound power cord (used) and no documentation. Today I will call them and see what they are going to do. If this is what they call blemished then I would NOT EVER CONSIDER anyone doing this even if the price was right. So right now I'm very disapointed however if they get me a return label, and send me a good one asap, I have read VERY little negative things about these guys so I hope they take care of this in a timely manner thereby living up to their reputation.
UPDATE: Their customer service was great! I received a shipping label (prepaid) that afternoon. Followed the instructions and shipped this back. They will ship a new one upon receipt of the return unit.

Purchased blemished item advertised to have all materials with it, with just a cosmetic defect. Product received without any written materials and without the USB cord. It also was dead on arrival. It wouldn't charge. Contacted TASCAM & determined it was defective. Zzounds issued a return and shipped a replacement.
