Because of leg surgery, it is necessary to buy two different sizes of stockings. It is so nice to have the availabilty of getting two sizes of the exact same stockings. Product description should include that you may want to get a larger size than you might actually measure - I'm a small woman so I ordered the smaller size and I'm having difficulty in putting them on because they are designed to be snug. I also had requested and paid for immediate shipping rather than the free shipping so I could wear them on a long flight last weekend. Unfortunately they did not arrive before my trip because they were delayed in Ohio for 2 days - very disappointing. So I don't know yet if the product will help reduce the swelling I experience while flying........I'm traveling internationally soon so I will have another opportunity to see if these stockings help.
