Never purchase from Vision Direct. I have waited for 6 weeks to recieve my sunglasses and the company has been evasive and operators unreachable to confirm the status of my order. I have still not recieved my purchased items despite having the full amount charged to my credit card. I resorted to threatening the company with legal action and have now recieved an undertaking that VD will refund my money. I am not expecting a refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

My order has been mishandled from the start! I placed my order on Nov 30 an I am still waiting. No one takes responsibility and it's a big game of pass the buck. In the mean time I can NOT travel without my lenses and they did not arrive today. My flight is is 24 hrs away..... I have not seen my kids in over a year, and I am desperate!!
At this time I have NOTHING Good to say about this company!

Ordered 8 boxes of Acuvue Oasys Thursday afternoon, it shipped that night, and I received them the next day. Wise Eyes wanted $235 and 1-800-Contacts wanted $220. With an online coupon code for Vision Direct I found for 25% off, combined with free shipping, with tax my total was $140. And on top of that I got 15 miles per dollar from my credit card company. Definitely gonna order from Vision Direct again next time. The rep who I had called to verify cost, product, shipping with was very helpful.

Terrible company! DO NOT SHOP THERE! I ordered 6 boxes of daily contact lenses that were a different brand than the last dailies I used. My eye doctor refused the order when Vision Dirsct contacted him and instead of contacting me and asking me what I wanted to do, VisionDirect picked ANOTHER brand of dailies and CHARGED ME FOR THEM! Without ever asking me! I called them up and they gave me some BS about how they must have not sent me the email that asked me what to do when my doctor refused their order. No kidding! They told me not to worry and that they would track the order before it shipped and cancel it. 20 minutes later they sent me an email telling me that my order would be shipped, I would be charged for the order and that I'd have to refuse the package in order to get a refund. I call them AGAIN and they said the same thing! "You shouldn't have gotten that email" ! What I shouldn't have done was order from these bozos. I just ordered from OptiContacts - they are great and also cheaper.

Truly horrible service. Three weeks after placing routine lens order, still awaiting delivery. Multiple emails and phone calls with customer service yielded "sincere apologies," but incompetent follow-through. Finally, company simply stopped responding to my requests for information. NEVER AGAIN.

The Prada sunglasses I ordered took over 6 weeks to arrive and were shipped from Hong Kong (not Italy). Despite the "warranty" card they are fake, not genuine Prada.
The length of time they took to arrive, means I can't enter a dispute with Pay Pal, as you can only have 45 days after the transaction date to enter a dispute. So I suspect the long arrival time is intentional. |

O-k. I purchased my lenses online at 10:30 am on Friday. I paid an extra 20 dollars for overnight shipping. I expected my contacts to arrive Saturday since no mention of weekends or Saturdays was made on the checkout webpage or at the latest Monday.

Ordered contacts on Aug 1, they had them shipped out by the 3rd and I received them on the 9th, with the standard free shipping service. Ordered 1 year supply Acvue Oasis contact lenses, great first time buyer discount (over 60 dollars). Order was correct when it arrived. Also called them to double check rebate offer, and they were very helpful on the phone as well. Overall they seem equal in service to any other online contacts retailer and their prices were cheaper than 1800 contacts.

I will never shop with Vision Direct again--buyer beware. I returned my contacts unopened because I had made a mistake on one of the contacts power. I returned them and because I didn't get a tracking number at the post office, they refused to refund me the $145.00! They said without a tracking number they could get lost and were lost. I think this is a cop out to say they are lost and to add to the company's bottom line.
I'd rather pay more money than to have such a rip-off return policy. They were prompt in getting my order out to me but said I had to wait 30 days for a refund. After 30 days of waiting and to hear they can't refund 'cause I didn't get a tracking number is some bull! Well, Customer Service Manager Clarence C. emailed me to contact him and he handled the matter. He was apologetic; gave me a full refund and a $20.00 credit toward future purchases. I am so estactic about the company's response and how Clarence handled this that I am coming back to Vision Direct and have told my friends and family. |

I order contact lenses 1 week ago. Used standard shipping and they arrived today (7days from order), exactly when the shipping notice said. WOW!! Thank you so much. I called Vision-Direct customer service before I ordered and I had the new prescription in my hand, the customer service rep was so nice he explained that if I had the current or new prescription with me and the expiration date was on it, all I needed to do was fax or email the prescription in and it would speed up the process. And boy did it. He also said they would be happy to contact the prescribing Dr. but it would take at least 8 hours to confirm that.
First time user and I won't be going any where else. Plus the prices are great. If your thinking about giving them a try I highly reccommend. |

Got a great price with drugstore dollars to spend, but that they were actually applied wasn't apparent in the final transaction. Had to contact customer service as a result to confirm that the drugstore dollars had in fact been applied. Was a tedious exercise that could have been avoided had the charges and credits/discounts been listed individually.

Taken almost 2 weeks and I still dont hvae my contacts. I am upset I ordered a year's supply so I wont have the satisfaction of giving my business to someone else till next year. When I called to see what could be taking so long, they were rude to me and told me that their website says it could take up to 3 business weeks to get orders. Sure, in the fine print. Forget that, anyone but them will get my business, and I will make it a point to tell everyone at my office (Was reccomended by our insurance) to skip using them.

They are very quick. You have to send the correct prescription to them immediately . or they will take two days checking with your doctor.
They have a price match policy .. many discounts available too. They saved my 50 percent from what my optometrist wanted me to pay. They were delivered in four days for no shipping charge. |

The delivery was overdue and upon checking the delivery it seemed to be stuck in "Salt Lake City and no one new why. Upon calling Vision Direct I was told they really weren't lost yet - not 10 days - but then I explained that I was wearing daily contacts for over 3 days s at that point. They relented and finally sent me a new order. But while tracking that order I noticed the old order made it to Phoenix only to be rcalled - a day before the osecond order arrived. I wnded up wearing daily contacts for over a week waiting for the new ones to arrive. Then when I ordered my daughter's contacts - she lives at another address - the same thing happenened. Delivery took so long that upon my call no one could do anything - not 10 days yeet. Once the order leaves Visioin Direct, no one seems to care what happenss after that. I have never had this problem with them before. I do not plan to order thru them again even if their prices are good - their delivery systems is terrible and they don't seem to care once they have received the money and their part of the order is filled.

However, I do not think that it took overly long to arrive. The prices were cheaper than other sites' and I have been please with my purchase so I will more than likely use them again.

VisionDirect.com sent me contacts and charged my credit card even though they knew my script had expired. To get my money back, they deducted $4 for return shipping and $2 to reimburse them for a processing fee. Be very, very careful when dealing with this group because they are underhanded and have questionable business practices.

This is the worst company to deal with. They are holding $403.25 of my money and will not release it even though they sent me an email 5 days ago they were cancelling my order and it would not be processed because the bank would not verify my information. They are rude. I have spoken to 3 people at customer service and have even wrote an email to Dawn Lepore, CEO and Chairman of Vision Direct and received no response, nothing! Not an apology, not she is forwarding it to anyone, nothing! She read it because I certified it and received her server response. I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau and will proceed to file a complaint with the FTC Consumer protection Agency if my money is not credited back to my bank account today. Save yourself the time and aggravation and avoid this company!
