Worst customer service I have ever had with an on-line company.  When inquiring about a specific product, I was told to call the manufacturer directly or to buy it from another company at a higher price.  Very unprofessional approach to a potential customer.

I ordered a Sanitaire-SC679 vacuum cleaner from VCDiscounter. They shipped it the next day. The product was exactly as described, the shipping was free, and the price was the lowest.

My shopping experience with this merchant is not too good. I received my vacuum cleaner came in bad cosmetic condition and one of the attachment that came with it was cracked. This happened cause they failed to package the merchandise well so I called up the company and asked if it was used or maybe if they send me another one. Customer service was poor, really...it is poor. The lady whom I spoke to asked me to go file an insurance claim through UPS because she claim that it was the carrier's fault. I spoke to UPS and they told me the merchant is suppose to file a claim not the customer. I really got fed up. So at the end I just gave up & kept the vacuum and order the broken attachment separately online. Bottom line is that I will never shop here again.

The vacuum cleaner wasn't boxed in a regular box for shipping it was only in its original packaging and it was all busted up this was a Christmas gift and it was very unacceptable as far as appearance of a gift. I am very disappointed. But to no avail I will have to give it as is since I don't have enough time to get a new one that is acceptable, the costumer service was excellent though and had great email communication to ensure that it was going to arrive in time for Christmas, no hopefully it works and it isn't broken from the poor packaging.

It was the most terrible experience I have ever had.

Day 1 (July 1) – order placed

Day 9 – I received a damaged vacuum, contacted customer service

Day 11 – they answered back, then did not responded, I had to call, sent numerous emails

Day 15 – They greed to exchange. Very rude behavior, rude emails

Day 20 – Company got back the damaged item, customer service wrote I had to wait for another 3 weeks to get it since they do not have it in stock.

Almost two months waiting to get the vacuum?
Unreachable and rude customer service.

DON'T BUY FROM THE STORE!

The only minor detail I could complain about is that I never received a tracking number for my vacuum. The vacuum did arrive within a week as I recall. I just like to track it.

One thing I found odd was that shipping was free for the product (a vacume cleaner) I tried to add couple of vacume cleaner belts to the order value less than $4.00, (and weight nominal compare to the vacume cleaner's) the shipment charge went to more than $8.00.. guess what I did not order the belts.. you lost business and I have to look for belts at my local store.. this realy needs to be fixed if you are to increase your business.. ( in my humbble opinion)..

My shopping experience at VCD was quite good, I was able to identify the exact product that I needed, and I also saw that if I needed accessories or replacment parts that I could get them there. There was nothing roundabout or confusing about checking out, I filled in my information, submitted the form and I got my order # with information on how I could go about tracking my product.

I did recieve the vacuum on time. The bags were on back order. I recieved them 20 days later. They did send an email letting me know. I sent a follow up e mail 15 days later and promptly recieved an email stating that they had been shipped out that day.
