Update on usbphoneworld!! I am happy to announce that i recieved my refund and a working free gift! I feel usbphoneworld should revise thier customer service, product quality and contact information because they have all the symptoms of a fraudulent company. Thank you Steve for addressing my issues and fixing the problem, but your company really should work harder on timely feedback.

My experience with usb phone world has been horrible. I recieved the merchendice on July 8 2008 and it only worked for about 30 minutes. after I informed them of the issue and sent the merchendice back and repeated attempts to try to get my money back, they still have only promised to reemburse me by the next day. The 800 number on the website is no good and they do not get back with you in a timely mannor. So far I only hear promises of getting my money back and of them sending me a "free" charger. It has not happened yet and it is August 27 2008. They did call me and speak with me, but they thought I was gmail Please contact me usbphoneworld @gijim39@yahoo.com

Original Toshiba part for my laptop was advertised, but a generic was received.

Quality of product received = dangerously poor quality
The power pack I purchased (similar to a power cord) overheats to a frightening degree. In about 15 minutes, too hot to touch, and eventually hot enough to seriously burn skin.

When the overheated occurred, I attempted to contact USBPHONEWORLD.COM. The initial response was direct: throw it away, a replacement would be sent. The replacement didn't arrive, and there have been no other responses. I'm working through PayPal and Visa to try to get a refund.

Unfortunately, the product I purchased did not work with my laptop, no fault to usbphoneworld.com. Thankfully, they are taking back the battery and refunding my money in full (still in process). One complaint would be that the website said that the battery would work with my HP laptop (model #DV5224NR). A little misleading, but I don't blame them as there are over 100 different DV5000 series laptops out there. I would purchase from here again.
