I ordered Consumer Reports on 17 JUN 2009; my card was billed immediately, of course! On 02 SEP I phoned Consumer Reports and they STILL had no record of my subscription. Sent E-mail to SuperMagDeals on 02 SEP. As of 05 SEP, no response.

I have received one issue of the new magazine that I subscribed to. The two that I renewed have come all year and I expect similar service this year.

Horrible....They took my money on April 1,2008 and have not renewed the magazine I wanted. I can not get in touch with them at all. I have e mailed at least 20 times and they don't respond and the phone they have does not ever answer. I finally reported them to AMEX.

I ordered two years of the New Yorker and only got one year. I have written customer support five or six times and they always say they are in the process of fixing it. But so far I have not seen my second year.

I made the mistake of ordering my New Yorker subscription through supermagdeals. They said it would take 12-16 weeks. At 16 weeks I emailed the company and they said I might get it sometime in May. Still not here yet. I tried to get a refund but they would allow that. I could not be more sorry that I tried to save a few dollars by ordering from them instead of directly from the New Yorker.

I didnot get the 4 magazines I ordered and paid for. I receive only 3. I called the customer service phone number and it went directly to a phone box or voice mail box. I left a message about l month ago and also about 1 week ago and no one has called me to discuss the issue.

I ordered and paid for a subscription to Consumer Reports as a birthday gift for my daugher on November 23, 2007. I only found out yesterday that she has never received any issues of the magazine. When I went to the SuperMagDeals website to check on the status of the order, it says the order number doesn't exist. They charged my Amex account for this order at the end of November. The things that work at SuperMagDeals.com are:

- They will take your money really fast
- you will, eventually, get your magazine, but be prepared to wait 2 months - delivery speed is abysmal

However, what does not work at all:
- Checking your order status online returns a cryptic "system error" message
- Two-year subscriptions: DO NOT ORDER ANY TWO YEAR SUBSCRIPTION from this site! I guess once they have your money you're chopped liver to them. The second year of my New Yorker subscription is now MIA for over 3 months, and I am waiting for this to be resolved.

In summary, a bad experience, and mine is not the only one.
I am, quite frankly, suspicious of the many very positive, no-problem-whatsoever evals on the merchant. Maybe the customer support of SuperMagDeals.com sends in evaluations to epinion and similar sites rather than answer the complaints of real customers.

It is HORRIBLE!! I ordered a Magazine in June and it takes 4 weeks at most to receive, since it is a weekly magaizine. NOTHING HAS BEEN RECEIVED.. I HAVE CALLED AND LEFT NUMEROUS MESSAGES AND NO REPONSE! I am TRULY disgusted and are filing a dispute with the better businesss bureau.

I am still waiting to hear from the company. Unfortunately I lost my order number. However I paid the Discover charge, posted 9 July $39.90. I expected to receive the magazine in early September. It is early Oct. and still not word. I have contacted customer service about one week ago and received an auto response. Since I did not submit an order number this may be responsible for the delay. I ordered two subscriptions as gifts, both for OK! magazine at $22.89 each. That was on 4/2/07. It's now 6/21/07 and still no magazines have ever shown up at my friend's homes. I will never use this service again, ever!!

I would only order from this Supermagdeals.com if it was the best price for the subscription. After ordering from them 1 yr Golf Digest $18.90 I found it at Netmagazines.com for $5.24/yr. In contacting Supermagdeals to cancel or adjust the price, they said they could not do either, so I doubt that I'd order from them again without verifying they were the lowest price available.

I almost thought that shopping at this merchant was a scam. I had purchased a 3 year subscription to Sporting News Magazine and after 3 months still no magazine. I called numerous times and most times there would be no answer. There were a few times that I was able to leave a message where I left my name and phone number but to no avail as no one called me back or emailed me. I checked with my bank to see if the debit / credit went through and it went through the day after my order was placed. This subscription was a birthday gift but recieving it in the middle of January was a month too late. I will not order from this merchant again.

Very poor. Website says 4-6 weeks to start weekly subscription. It took 3 months, they were very slow to answer e-mail inquiries, and they provide no info about the progress of your order unless you make inquiries.
