Hi, I made my purchase from El Salvador in Central America and I had a problem with my credit card because you could not verify it. I made a phone call and the person who got my call told me you did not sell products bought with foreign credit cards, that's why i declined from buying the guitars in my first attempt. However, a friend told me he did purchase some items with his credit card from El Salvador, so I did my second attempt to buy and called customer service and the person who received my call was very patient and made all the processes needed to buy my guitar. You need to improve your customer service so you can have better assistants with the complete information. Your phone customer service is really poor and needs to be improved.

zZounds accepted my order, gave me an order number and a few hours later canceled my order advising me my credit sucked. If they had checked my past purchase history with them they would have found I'd purchased a Gibson Les Paul guitar from them for $2600.00 cash on the barrel head. They did not take this into consideration. Needless to say I will never ever again purchase my musical supplies from zZounds.

The merchant performed its roles on time. All the delays involved in this order were due to the shipper (FedEx). Some-though not all-of these shipper delays were accounted-for. But none appeared to be the fault of the merchant. The fact that I rated the merchant's order-tracking as only "good," rather than as "excellent-; is simply due to the fact that their tracking stops with giving the customer tracking-numbers and informing them of when the left their warehouse. Some merchants pass-along reports from the shipper-itself. In lieu of "that," this order would have benefited from advice to me to enter the tracking data on the shipper's tracking web-page as soon as the package left the merchant for me to be able to begin "guiding" the shipper much-sooner in the shipping-process than I even "guessed" I would have to "start--;" since I never realized that although shipping sometimes sped right-in-, it, at-other-times had repeated problems, as it had in "this" case. With each passing day I was getting more-convinced that this order was going to wind-up going back to the merchant, due to the shipping problems-; regardless-of whether "I" still-wanted the order-, which I "did."

I ordered the Pee Dee (Adicts) Schecter guitar for $699, the last one zZounds had according to their website. I was very disappointed that the guitar that arrived was not new at all, but in obviously played-with condition, with many pick scratches and scuff marks, and even a pickup was loose and couldn't be properly tightened. I will say I ordered from zZounds from a friend's recommendation, after he bought some guitars with no problems. Customer service was ok and my refund was very quick so that is to zZounds credit. But after receiving the guitar in that condition, I cannot recommend zZounds, for guitars anyway. I really don't understand how this company charged someone $699 for a new guitar and then packed what was obviously a very played-with guitar, with loose parts no less.

Super Happy. I bought a Gibson SG standard in ebony from these guys using their play as you pay plan. It was simple with super affordable payments. No Credit check, no hassle. Picked out my guitar clicked the play as you pay option and payed the 1st payment and a few days later I get a great guitar at a great price and I couldn't be happier. I will very likely buy all of my gear from zzounds.com from now on.

Delivery on the music sheet stand was prompt. It came without a carrying bag, as was advertised. I called up and was told I could return it as the ad was incorrect on the bag being included. I decided to keep it anyway instead of returning and buying elsewhere.

I recently purchased an SKB 18 Dreadnought guitar case from Zzounds. Their service and delivery time were excellent. I read a review stating that the case was perfect for a Martin D18 guitar. That is simply not true. The guitar will go into the case, however the fit is sloppy. I'll either have to add to the interior padding or simply abandon it as having a guitar slide around inside a case is not acceptable.

zZsounds is the best online music store I have used I can not use the other guitar stores name but they beat all of them hands down. Zzsounds truely  cares about their customers and know the gear they carry. I have dealt with another company only for the representative to say I have no clue about this equipment. Not the case with zZsounds every time I call and ask a question about an item they know all the details. If your serious about your gear this is the company for you!!


Update I just ordered a Orange 212c Cabinet and the customer service once again was flawless. I got the cabinet in like 3 days amazing fast shipping. I was worried that the carrier was going to damage it considering its pretty heavy and the price point was around $700 bucks. But zZsounds had it packed very carefully, my baby was beautiful when it came in and the sound was also amazing. I finally got my tone guys thanks zZsounds!!!!

I recently put my first order in with Zzounds. I have used other music sites in the past with good results. One reason I picked Zzounds this time was the no-interest four payment terms which other sites did not offer for a purchase of the dollar value of mine.

My first experience won't be my last with Zzounds. My guitar arrived as promised, packed properly and was in perfect condition. The order process was trouble free and painless. One minor quibble with the site is the difficulty in finding specific accessories like strings, capos, etc. but that's a VERY minor crit.

I just ordered my third guitar from zzounds.  Each order was flawless - the free shipping is outrageously fast for free - overnight vs. 5-8 business days.  Also, their pay-as-you-play is great.  The $1,300 guitar that I wanted, but couldn't afford means "it'll just have to wait" - and by the time I DO have $1,300 dollars laying around - there's always something more important.  But ZZ put me on a 12 pay plan, and I DO have $100 laying around - and so I bought it (Gibson Les Paul Fireburst Studio).  Am buying an amp in December.
