Never seen worse customer service.

Horrible experience. Received a defective tub, and Vintage claimed they would replace it, but we would have to pay for shipping. Later Ilearned they had already shipped a replacement (at their cost), but sent it to the wrong state! Again, they said I would have to pay to have it shipped to my house. I tried to get them to see the fault in their logic - they said they wouldn't ship it, but already had & to the wrong location - so they then agreed to ship it to my house. When it arrived, it was the wrong tub! Now they want to blame the plumber who installed the tub as having screwed up the order!! We are in our third month now trying to get them to do the right thing and replace their defective merchandise. Absolute poster child for how not to conduct customer service.

I ordered a copper sink in April 2010, Strom Faucet, Belle Forret shower fixture, pill box antique reproduction toilet and lighting.
All came on time and only 1 item was damaged. The pill box toilet had a crack, I called, they sent another, and I returned the broken one. You want to make sure you give time (2-3 weeks) for all to come in. If you are in a rush, deal locally and pay extra for local service. If you have the time and want these products, this is a great company to work with. Quality is A+ of everything ordered. |

Ordered a bathroom sink faucet for shipment to Canada. Faucet arrived about 2.5 weeks later with no problems. Would definitely order from Vintage again.

I purchased a vanity and countertop from Vintage Tub and Bath. The sales person convinced me to purchase one of their faucets. Ended up spending $911. It would not fit the sink I bought with it. I contacted them and they said to send it back. I did and bought the faucet from Home Depot and installed it in 30 minutes. Vintage Tub and Bath is now disputing my credit card company and will not refund the price of the faucet - $139.
Stay away from this company and go to Loews or Home Depot. |

The shopping experience was great. Vintage Tub & Bath have a wonderful selection of products. I received my new Farmhouse sink in a few days after ordering & it looks great. We are still under construction so it hasn't been installed yet. The only suggestion I have for the website is more pictures other than the white sinks listed. Thanks!!

this turntable was a gift for my 83 yr old friend. She has dozens of opera LP's she hasn't been able to listen to for 20 yrs. She called the minute it arrived and said how wonderful it is. I was concerned about the quality of the small built in speakers but she said they are wonderful. It is a portable "record player" and easy for her to handle although she'll never move it from where it is now. Thanks.

some components were received dented from transport. I contacted the manufacturer who asked my to take pictures of the damaged items and send to him. Also contacted the shipper who asked me to repack the items in original transit box for pick-up the following day. Was advised that a replacement order is on the way.

Stay away from Vintage Tub and Bath. They do not care if you get your order or not when they promise. My order was supposed to ship within 2 days, it did not. They charged my credit card, but failed to mention the item I ordered was not even in stock. I have made several calls trying to find out when it would ship. I'm now at 17 days and am being told it's not in stock and is actually on backorder until the middle of next month, which puts me at approx. 35 days until they even have it to ship out. They also had the wrong information about my previous calls in their computer. I have now cancelled my order and will be surprised if they credit my account back in a timely manner. I'm confused about why they would not even send out an email alerting the customer of the status of an order. They leave you hanging with no information, come on, tell the truth and let the customer decide to wait it out or move on. Extremely Disappointed!

Ordered a $700 sink that arrived damage and they refused to replace it even though Vintage Tub and Bath (after receiving the pictures) admitted that it arrived damaged. Vintage Tub and Bath gave us the run around blaming the shipping company who blamed Vintage Tub and Bath and back and forth. After over 3 months of this they called and said they refused our claim and would not replace the sink that they admitted arrived damaged. Do not do business with this company.

We called and ordered one of their acylic tub special packages. I paid by credit card but was never told that the tub was out of stock. I called promptly to cancel at customer service. I never received a follow up call or e-mail, nor did we receive a credit on the Visa card. A second call to Mary at customer service the following day was made. Mary said, "Oh, you canceled, I didn't know. Oh, wait, I see a note on the desk." Mary promised to credit the Visa and send an e-mail for confirmarion that day. No credit or e-mail. We sent a follow up e-mail to customer service and Mary the next day. No response from anyone. STAY AWAY from these people. I found out that the owner used to be a car salesman. Take that for what it's worth. Horrible customer service. We filed a chargeback with our credit card company and will file a complaint with the BBB in PA where they do business . :(

5 days! 5 days after I placed my order...i got order confirmation and was told to expect my package in another 10 days! In the time I would expect most companies to ship something ground from Pensylvania, I received confirmation!
So 12 days after I received my "confirmation" still no package, so I called them. I got a tracking number and the package is supposedly on the way. Couldn't they just email you the tracking number automatically as soon as it's genereated? I think UPS will do this for free. So 17 days after my order i'm still waiting. Those who gave this company 5 stars for customer service are clearly plants, from the company. |

We purchased an expensive lavatory set by Strom Plumbing by Sign of the Crab from Vintage Tub & Bath Online and after installing it, the finish almost immediately spotted. The pop-up drain also did not function properly and as a result will not hold water. Some of the parts are already rusted, and the sink has been in use just 4 months. We contacted them by email via their website twice, and never received a response. We then phoned them and were told they would submit a claim to the manufacturer - Strom Plumbing by Sign of the Crab - and that we could expect to hear back in 48 hours. We never heard back. It has now been nearly two months since our initial contact, and the issues we're having are still unresolved.

Poor shipping. Item stated will Leave NJ warehouse in 2 business days. Ordered on Monday morning 8:30am CDT. Credit card charged Monday . As of Friday Morning 12:30 CDT item has not left NJ warehouse. Very argumentative customer service. Explained delay as employee was sick. If item doesnt leave by 2pm cdt today. I will cancel order and place with another company and dispute with credit card company which was charged the day I ordered. Always funny how they can charge you but have problems processing an order.

Horrible experience. Customer Service is non-existent. Charged my credit card the day the order was placed -- two weeks ago, still do not know when I will receive the tub and drain. Only reason I knew that the product was not shipped was from phone calls I initiated. No follow-up emails with delays or information. Absolutely do not care about the customer or expressing any dismay for delays, do not return promised calls and there is no consistency in contacts. Have spoken to 6 individuals, none of whom knew what they were doing. SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU WANT PRODUCT OR SERVICE.

I love this store. We first ordered from them in the fall of 2000, we redid master bath in vintage style and purchased all through them . Everything was beautiful, customer service was outstanding. Later when I had chipped our Kohler iron pedestal sink, they sent a repair kit to us. So, this past fall (2006) we installed a new half bath on our lower floor and ordered through them again. Nothing has changed, great products, service, pricing, delivery.
