I purchased the Vintage Lace Comforter bedding in January. By March the edges were starting to shred. Very poor quality. I notified their customer service department and there was no response. I'll never buy anything from them again.

I ordered a tablecloth and called the next day to cancel it. I was told it had already shipped. It was my mistake so I figured I'd take the hit and eat the shipping charges. Four days later I received an e-mail saying my package had shipped that day - which was a federal holiday with no postal service. I had to call three times to get my credit. When it finally showed on my card, the shipping charges were not refunded. I called again and was told I misunderstood. Abominable customer service. Beware.

Ordered a bedskirt and 2 shams. First they say they will send me a quote for delivery. I get a call saying my card was declined (order went through). I asked what about my delivery quote...they said they didn't know and the lady responsible for those was out of the office. So I finally get a quote by email and called to let them know I DID NOT want FED EX since it took them almost a week to get back to me after placing the order. Shortly thereafter (same day or day after my phone call to them about deliver) I get my darn order via FED EX. They just flat out lied to me about my order delivery. Will never order again from them.

This company STINKS with a capital S. Their customer service is virtually non-existant. You place an order for an item that is shown as In Stock, you then recieve a cheery e-mail that your order has been received and then NOTHING. When you call Customer Service they conveniently say that the items are out of stock!!! They do not send any e-mail to you letting you know this, and then claim that they comply with Federal Trade Commission regulations that they only have to advise the customer BY POSTCARD ( how primative is that!) 30 Days after the order was placed. They have got to be kidding. This is the minimum that Touch of Class is required to do BY LAW. Shame on them. I don't imagine Macys or JC Penney would ever treat their customers this way. It throws their entire web site, every product into question. What really is IN STOCK at Touch of Class?

I ordered an LED lamp that cost $48.94. I could have driven 5 miles to IKEA & bought one, but I liked the design at TOC a little better. When the lamp arrived, I immediately plugged it into a socket and noticed that one bulb was already burned out. I contacted TOC immediately by phone. The customer service person seemed to doubt my word and told me that maybe a simple bulb replacement would do. The woman said she would check & get back with me. After some time, when I called back, another customer service person informed me that she could not acquire the information that rapidly. I called again later to ask for a return mailing label to be emailed to me. The customer service person said that she would do that. I did not receive one so, at my own expense, I am returning the lamp. Once before, I bought a statue from TOC & when I wiped it with a damp cloth, the painted surface came off. This company does not have even a touch of class.

I have bought from them several times but with this experience, it will be my last. I ordered a bedspread set that did not look like the photo online. It had such a sheen that the print could not be seen. I did not like it. I called and was told that I could return it in the original package for a refund but that the free shipping it was sent to me with would be deducted from my refund. I sent it back (again at my expense) and after a couple of weeks of not hearing from them I called only to be told there was hair on it and they wanted to know where to send it back to me. I was so appalled at the customer service I couldn't believe their attitude. It was only after my husband called and threatened to call the BBB that the supervisor begrudgingly consented to send me a merchandise voucher. This was a bad experience and I won't be shopping with them again. I might add that the set was about $240. so not a cheap lesson at all.

Avoid doing business with Touch of Class. Merchandise is overpriced and there was no free shipping on my order of $60. There website said the product I ordered was in stock, but, it when it did not arrive in a timely manner I phoned them and was informed it was back ordered. They should have e-mailed this information out, but they did not. I used the product, but it did not work as specified on their site, I called them and asked for an exchange or refund, they said no.

DO NOT BUY FROM TOUCHOFCLASS.COM Their products are not as advertised and their customer service is awful. Do not call back, and do not make good on damaged products. Bought something described as wood with veneer - it was mdf covered with plastic Share this post so everyone knows! |

Oh, how I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered from this company! I ordered drapery panels, didn't like the quality and have been trying to return them for 3 weeks. Customer service says I must return them to manufacturer and they will contact me in 1-2 days with an address. THEY NEVER CALL. I can never speak to a supervisor. I even agreed to pay 13.00 to have them email me a return label. According to service it takes 24 hours. Its been over 48 hours and no label. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau soon. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

i still have not recieved thw papertowel holder that i ordered from them over a month ago and every time i call they say they are shipping it out tomm but when i ask to speak with a manager they say they just left or not there today i have never once recieved a call back from them i onl spent 38 dollars but still it was only for a papertowel holder how hard it is to send me what i ordered i will never do business with this company ever again

Merchandise arrived broken. Salesperson grudgingly gave me free shipping on the replacement although "That offer expired." I reiterated that the merchandise was broken, and that free shipping was the least they could do, and that further, the civil response would be to offer an apology for my inconvenience. She responded that they went "above and beyond" on that order because they paid for the return shipping and the replacement items to be shipped. What a terrible company. Rude, unhelpful, and it took them forever to credit my account for the return. Will never use them again.

Run, don't walk, from these people! Ordered a very expensive rug from them, they sent the wrong rug and I'm still waiting for it to be picked up and the correct rug to be sent - one and a half months later!! Every week I call and am told someone will contact me the next day, which never happens. Looks like I will have to deny the charge and sell their rug on ebay!

The fountain had a manufacturer defect (it leaked from the bottom). I called Touch of Class the same day it arrived (Wednesday) and spoke with Chris. He helped me, but he could have been friendlier. He told me that FedEx would come by on Friday; I was home, so I waited all day on Friday (didn't want to leave the box outside unattended). FedEx did not come. I called Touch of Class back; Chris answered. He apologized and said my return authorization was still under management review. I asked to speak to a manager, and he transferred me to some woman's voicemail. I left a message and then followed-up with an email. On Saturday, I received an email from FedEx with the call tag pickup #. On Sunday, I received an email from Touch of Class, apologizing for the problem. FedEx picked-up the return on Tuesday. Within a week of it being delivered to Touch of Class, they refunded my order in full. Thank you.

I ordered firm latex pillows, one standard and one king. I got free one way shipping because the order was over $99. They arrived pretty much on time but the pillows were not firm and not comfortable considering my past purchases of firm latex pillows. The customer service department there is hopeless. I shipped them back for $18.44. I finally got a credit to by credit card for only $93.03 when the originally charge was $111.98. I called customer service again and was told they only give full credit if the items were defective. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I have never had a company reverse free shipping because the customer did not choose to keep the items for one reason or another.

Ordered a new bedspread set and it looks fantastic in our master bedroom. I even found a coordinating rug and wall sculpture. I get so many comments on how great it looks!! It looks like a professional decorator put the ensemble together. Thank you Touch of Class! I will purchase again soon since we are redoing our guest bedroom soon.

Ordered merchandise and the order was finally completed 3 months later (last piece of the bedroom decor being received 3 months later). Returned one piece from the order and Touch of Class WILL NOT give me my money back for the return, only a merchandise credit!
The merchandise was of good quality, and just as described. Their Customer Service phone line is nice too, telling you how many calls are ahead of yours. You do move quickly to be first in line, but the Customer Service representative (Chris) leaves a lot to be desired. Spoke to him all the times I called in. He is very abrupt and standoff-ish. Wish I would have found these reviews BEFORE I ordered from them! |

I have shopped numerous times at Touch of Class. I feel that their merchandise is high quality - and in fact, always suprises me when I open the box. I can tell by their selection that they seem to pride themselves on having unique merchandise. I've never had a bad situation with them, and when I have a question about something, their Customer Service Department is quick and informative. I have rugs, curtains, pillows, wall canvases, sconces, a lamp, and some outdoor items and all are in good shape and I have had for a couple years. I also purchased monogrammed towels from them several years ago and they have held up super well through alot of washings. I shop from their catalog and I really love perusing their website!
Touch of Class will continue to be my choice for home decor! Thanks! |

My wife and I purchased set of curtains from Touch of class. Got the product and it was not as described on website. Size was wrong. We decided to return. They told me that I have to pay for the shipping of returned item. OK, I paid. Item was delivered to them as scheduled, two days later I was expected to get my credit...nothing happend. I contacted customer service by email. Day later, they tell me, what is tracking #. OK, here you go, here is the tracking number, item delivered, everything is OK, give my money back, folks! NO, they tell me: it should be checked in by the SYSTEM!!! And then, it should take 2-5 business days when they receive the item, and only after that they will refund my money back! I really disappointed in the service and the quality of product. Folks, don't buy from them.

I have ordered many items from Touch of Class, but have decided not to purchase from them any longer because 9 out of 10 times, I'm disappointed in the product I receive. The products are never as nice as they appear in the catalogue. They are always considerably smaller, so much that I'm shocked when I receive them, and the quality is always inferior to how it looks in the catalogue. Also, the wicker chest of drawers that I purchased from them for my bathroom is a huge headache, for the drawers do not close evenly, they always get stuck and I end up hurting myself in the process of trying to close them.

Product ordered was not the same color as pictured on website -- and I dont mean a shade off, I mean it was pictured as dark brown and the item received was off-white. Here's where the real trouble began: it took over a month and 10 phone calls plus getting my credit card involved for them to authorize the return; then another 2 weeks of phone calls to get the refund for the return!
I have a friend who loves this company; but she has never had a return! Personally, I would never order from them again. |

Very disappointed with service and prices at Touch of Class. They advertise their Tranquility Quilt as their exclusive line when indeed I found it at Montgomery Ward on sale for $100.00 cheaper. Be aware! Their Customer Service Emailed me that they would do a price comparison but then when I called I was shifted from person to person and finally was refused the option of the Montgomery Ward price. They did admit that they should remove exclusive from their advert and said the quilt was the same as Montgomery Ward.
