I have been shopping at Strawberry Net for a number of years now and have found the negative reviews on this site very surprising. A positive reviewer suggests that SN competitors may be planting the reviews and I think she may be on to something.  I have placed in excess of 30 orders with SN over the years and I have never had issues with delivery times (even when located in Afghanistan of all places).  On one occasion I was sent the wrong product which was similar and from the same manufacturer to the one I ordered.  SN were easy to get hold of, replied promptly, sent me the correct item, and said I could keep the one they'd sent me in error.  I usually order clarins products from them, and they appear to be of the same quality as that I've purchased in department stores.  None have been expired or even close to.  Some of the packaging has some asian writing on it in addition to English, but you would expect that in a product sold in asian stores.

I ordered a hair care product, Purology, from them back on Dec. 6, 2012.  Their website stated it would take 7-10 days to get here.  16 days later I still do not have the product.  I have contacted them 3 times and each time I get the exact same standard email response from "anne" saying to just give it more time.  They gave me a tracking number and, 16 days after the order was placed, it still states "product waiting to be dispatched from warehouse." 
This was supposed to be a Xmas gift.  It is obvious I will not receive this product by Xmas...IF I ever receive it at all. 
This website/business is based out of Hong Kong...I did not know this before placing the order.  I should have done my research BEFORE placing the order....and I suggest the same to you.  I would definitely AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS!

I work in a post office and have also purchased from Strawberrynet and think I am partially qualified to state some of their products are not genuine, or if they are real they are old stock or out of date.
 
Many women talk to me about their orders and some are disappointed to find the items were not as expected, others pick up their distinctive purple ribbon package and say they have received fake merchandise previously but because the prices are cheap they continue to shop there. Perfumes particularly seem to be poor quality.

I have purchased Chanel, Dermalogica, Go Smile and Estee Lauder from the site and although the packaging is flawless there is always something that makes me question the item- Off smell, different texture, weak fragrance.

Remember, the items are shipping from the counterfeit region of the world!

DO NOT USE!!! I'm still waiting for the £14.00 customs charge to be refunded to me. The product came from Sweden, i got a card from the post office telling me they were holding it until they received £14 payment forcustoms charge. I contacted strawberrynet and they assured me they would refund the amount if I sent them a receipt. Which I did. That was 6 weeks ago and I've heard nothing despite repeated emails.

Like the other reviewers, I have had a very bad experience with StawberryNet. When are more than a week of waiting for my product to arrive i was told that goods can take up to 21 days from the time they are shipped to the time they are deleivered.

The responses i got from staff are all obvious cut and paste jobs that simple quote their shipping policy and they are very quick to point out that if the items are lost, you agreed that strawberrynet would not replace them item. So really, they dont have to send you anything, they are legally covered no matter what.

I have no confidence that my product will ever arrive and I ended up buying the same thinhg elsewhere, so i have wasted the $100 I spent with StrawberryNet.

Buy at your own risk - i cant recommend them. Its not just the slow postage - in fact my item still has not arrived so i cant say for sure that it ever will.

Learn from my mistake please! Plenty of good sellers on Ebay, give these guys a miss.

I ordered Juice beauty rejuvenating mask from strawberry.net because it was on sale. I received an expired product from them. Although the box of product clearly printed "See bottom of product for best by date", It had been removed.  So I emailed strawberry.net to let them know about it and they just claimed that their product is 100% fresh and authentic. In the mean time, I called the juice beauty company directly to find out the expiry date by giving them a lot # (special code) on the box. Guess what! It is over 2 years old product which needs to be discarded. Most organic cosmetic line contains very little preservatives or none. The freshness of product is really critical. When I complaint about this matter, All they said to me was returning the product to them without opening the box if I am not happy with it. I will never order any product from them again.

Hi,

I ordered a perfume set and few other things from strawberrynet on 24th Nov.
Haven’t received the stuff yet.
I wonder if I’ll ever get the goods or my money back….
I guess they do not have  a centralized database for complaints as every time I email, a new person responds, to whom I need to explain the issue all over again. Frankly, I am regretting my buy because if saving a few bucks makes you do so many follow ups then it's just not worth it..

Please read many reviews on other sites regarding this company. Many customers have been overcharged, not refunded for incorrect items or been scammed. I used the site in the past and had no issues or to pay customs charges. On this occasion, I was asked to send a scanned utility bill in order to process my order, despite my transaction going through online. Most sites use vericard system etc. I sent the copy but my order was delayed anyway and only when I wanted to cancel it was the product miraculously despatched on the same day. I waited almost 2 working weeks for the product delivery and was then lumbered with a customs charge, almost half of the product price. In summary, not worth the hassle, use other sites to order your products or buy on high street as it may be cheaper in some cases.

I have done so many orders with strawberrynet and never had any problems until purchasing a Lancome mascara (L'Extreme). I noticed the mascara forumla wasn't the same as it didn't have the same feeling on my lashes and worked as well as a $10 mascara. This was bad enough, however even worse was when I broke out in a red rash on my eyes from using the mascara. People- beware, its not worth saving $20 to use some cheap version of a mascara that they put god knows what into and that causes skin irritation. It's a serious problem and we should ditch this website all together after this horrible experience. Buy it from the shops at least you will know you are getting the right thing.

I was looking for a particular skin care product (Depsea Hydrability line).  The manufacturer website was out of product so I looked to see if it was available from other sites. I found strawberrynet.com, which seemed to have a good bizrate.com rating. So I tried the site and found that my credit card was rejected. I called the credit card company and was informed that fraud issues had been associated with the site in the past. I then called the manufacturer and was told that strawberrynet.com was not a distributor and that the product was sold exclusively through the manufacturer's website. So it appears that the site, which is operated out of Hong Kong, offers counterfeit products. I would be very concerned about products that are purchased through this site given what I learned from the manufacturer and my credit card company as well as knowing thatthe location of the site.

I ordered 5 items, which took forever to arrive.  One was incorrect and I contacted them about fixing it.  They acknowledged the error and offered a 30% discount to "avoid hassle" (their words, not mine) which I didn't accept because it's perfume and I want what I ordered.  Since then, all I get are emails assuring me that they are "looking into it" and are "working hard to get me the information I require" and that they will contact me when they make their "final decision" about the situation.  I've put a dispute on the credit card charge, but it's difficult to resolve because all I get are emails in broken English about how I need to be patient while they do "detailed checking with the warehouse."

Been a Strawberry.net customer for nearly a year now. Bought heaps of things from them. Some things were pretty good, fast delivery etc. However, once bought an unboxed Bobbi Brown moisturiser on sale. Big mistake...I think it was expired because it was smelly and oozing out liquid instead of moisturiser.

Thought I'll just consider it a writeoff, and ordered another thing from them. Suddenly, the bank suspends my card for 'fraud activity' and the fraud was being charged from Hong Kong!!!

This has made me wary, and I'm not that confident to purchase from Strawberry.Net anymore.

I purchased Coco EDP 100ml spray,  faulty product as bottle leaks.  When I opened the parcel, I could smell perfume.  The plastic wrap had a greasy film on it and smelt strongly of Coco.  I could see no damage. I contacted StrawberryNet, had to provide photo evidence!  After a few emails, they offered 30% discount to avoid as they say...  "hassles of replacement"!  I checked bottle, looked ok, but there was small amount of greasy film on outside and smelt of the perfume, considered just a minor fault and should be OK once left in upright position.  I didn’t realise how much the perfume would leak. Some days you can see the drip on the side of the bottle.  After three months, I have less than 1/2 bottle left . This makes it a very expensive purchase considering this would usually last me over two years! Have tried for the last three months to contact them. Emails are now just ignored and no response. Even after completing BizRate survey, still no satisfaction. EXTREMELY POOR customer service and questionable product authenticity!

FAKE products, Ripoff, and no refund

I ordered SKII Signs Totality Treatment and Whitening Source Dermdefinition from them.

Upon opening, I notice the metal lid was damaged, even though the box is fine - I thought that was strange.

After using for a few days, I realise products are fake, as I have been long time user of SKII.

Their items smelled different and were greasy.  They didn't have the fresh pitera feeling, and they had shiny particles inside - which real SKII doesnt have.

I tried to get a refund thru Paypal, by Strawyberry net refused the refund.

I am following up with Hong Kong Consumer Council.

Don't buy from these people - you are wasting you money!!!

I've been dealing with this seller for the past few years. They are good when everything goes well. However, if the package doesn't turn up, be prepared to fight hard and long. My package didn't turn up, so I asked them for a refund, and I've waited more than a month for the overall process but they are still asking me to wait longer. Really frustrating. So disappointed with their quality of customer service. I am still waiting!

Utterly disappointed. Ordered 05 Dec, today is 18 Dec and my order only arrived to Irish customs this day. That's more than 10 days. I never waited so long for anything from any internet shop and NEVER went through customs where probably will be another charge. I even could not track my order as tracking reference is not standard postal tracking. This was my first but more important LAST ORDER from sh1tberry.

I ordered from Strawberrynet a month ago, hoping to have gifts for Christmas. I wish I had read these reviews before doing so. My parcel hasn't arrived and I keep getting automated responses from their customer service. The order was for more than $200AUD and they keep saying wait 14 days. However the deal I responded to was promising delivery within 4-7days. My husband actually rang them late last night, our time, and they said they would ring today. But instead I get an email asking for details of the problem!!!!
They are hopeless.

I have shopped at SN a number of times and have been unsure of the overall quality of the goods.  My Kerastase conditioner had a different consistency from the one I bought at the salon.  HOwver i just assumed it was slightly older and continued to order.  I guess the deep discounts got me carried away.
I just bought a bottle of Davidoff Cool Water recently from SNet.  I wore it once and found it a little strange that the perfume felt oily.  That's when I decided to do some digging online.  The packaging is different from the original.  The silver box on the blue background is missing!  I just realised I've got a complete dud!!

I have got an ad from Strawberrynet "with purchase of perfume&skincare you'll get free gift". When placing the order, at the moment of checkout, the line with "free gift" disappeared and nothing was suggested as a gift to choose. As the order was placed and my card was charged, I sent a message to Strawberrynet asking "Where is my gift?" and has got no reply. After sending second message, finally I have got the reply "the gift that you have chosen is out of stock, sorry. Suggest 10$ discount for the next order. Just send us a message after order placing." But I didn't even had a chance to choose anything at the time of purchase... %-( Taking into account their "responsiveness" with the current order and NO gift (though it was promised) I doubt that I can get any manual discount next time.

Also Strawberrynet is showing prices at local currency (no way to see in $ for my region) but charges the card in $. The trick is  that exchage rate behind the prices is 1 year old, meaning that the real price that will be charged to the card is at least 10% higher, bcs of their "mistake" in exchange rate.

Don’t trust StrawberryNET
There are plenty of other discount prestige brand cosmetic websites who are trustworthy - don’t take the risk unless you are absolutely sure what you are about to order is going to be what you expected.

StrawberryNET are great when you are spending but no good for returns. The returns policy states ‘Please contact our orders department at mailto:orders@Strawberrynet.com before returning anything so we can inform you where to send and how to arrange the refund’.

Problem is they never answered my international phone call or four emails sent within the required ten days of receiving my products. And no, they hadn’t lost my email address, I subsequently received three of their promotional emails.

The product is a 15 ml Orlane eyecream which I mistakenly expected to be 30mls. This is so not good value compared to other eye creams. And unfortunately another problem is that the product is in a small tube that does not appear to be sealed.  There is no way I want to use an unsealed product in any case.

I guess it is just too much to expect StrawberryNET's to trust me in return.

I was appalled AFTER ordering my perfumes to realize that I would have to wait over TWO WEEKS to get my items. And when I did, I was shocked that I had to pay an extra 45 euro to collect it! This is despite paying for delivery when I ordered online. I will NEVER EVER shop from them again! This has been my worst online shopping experience, EVER!

I ordered the Shiseido Future Solution cream from Strawberrynet and it was a fake product.  The plastic cover the box was cut along the diagonal lines at the bottom.  When I removed the plastic, the cut marks imprinted on the box too.  I guessed they had done something to the cream, mixed fake and real cream or just refill the fake cream. 

They did a good job so you can't tell it's fake by the look and the smell, but I have a small sample from Macys and could tell the difference when I put them on.  The cream from Macys is not greasy and gave me light and cool feeling.  The cream from Strawberrynet is greasy and heavy.

I've been ordering skincare products from Strawberrynet for 9 times and couldn't tell they sale fake products until now.  For the cheaper products (less than $100) you might get the real things, but for something more expensive like the Shiseido Future Solution cream ($230 before tax), you will get the fake one.  I will never buy things from Strawberrynet again.

I have just ordered a eye cream from Strawberrynet at the beginning of January and still trying to get the Customs and a whooping Royal Mail charges back from this company . They say on their sight it will be refunded, but you have to  fax the receipt  it (at your own expense) to Hong Kong or mail it to Hong Kong. Be minded of this when you order.

I use strawberry net all the time (New Zealand Resident).  Never had any problems with them.  Products have all been genuine, always arrived on time, 3-6 days and have never received a fake product.  I am up to my 10th purchase and receive discounts for being a loyal customer.  I also get free samples put in my order.  I was surprised to see so many complaints about strawberry net, maybe i have been lucky?

I have been ordering from strawberrynet for a few years now and am overall happy with their service...however I do find that their 50% off specials sometimes provide FAKE products...so be careful you may think your saving but actually you are paying a lot more than what the product is worth!!!
