CUSTOMER BEWARE! STP uses deceiving Sales methods like not disclosing their Return Policy, hoping to get Customers to shop there. And after a while, they will refuse to give refunds for returned merchandise...reason being "too many returns on the account". That is unbelievable and unheard of for me, specially coming from an Internet based Retailer. They charge an-arm-and-a-leg for shipping, they false-advertise their merchandise, and they stiff their customers with not only huge shipping costs, but ultimately by refusing to process returns...they "refuse to do business with you". Worst customer service I've ever had in all my shopping experience. Take my advice, don't shop here or you'll end up paying a lot more for cheap 'discounted' merchandise. At this rate, hope they won't last much longer.

4-5 days to process an order is a NO-NO in 2013 when Amazon, Zappos, etc. ships on the same day. Not recommended, will NOT order from again.

Sierra Trading Post is the best internet order firm I deal with. Best return policy in the internet business (that I am aware of). Quality merchandise and described better than other big-name outdoor gear and clothing companies I have also ordered from on occasion. Website is excellent. Trading Post has it all. I keep coming back to check on new merchandise.

Not only did I receive the exact product I was looking for from Sierra Trading; I received it faster than I've ever received anything I've ordered online or by mail. I received it within 2 days and only selected and paid for standard shipping. I also paid significantly less for the shoes, which retail for $125.00. I paid, tax and shipping included, a total of $70.00! It was crazy! I had been researching online, a place to buy the shoes at a lower, discounted price and found many websites offering lower prices, but Sierra Trading was the very lowest offer and exceeded my expectations as far as the entire transaction went. I was able to view everything and make the order and purchase easily on their website, I received the order so fast that I hadn't even attempted to track it yet, and the product was exactly what I wanted and what I expected and hoped it would be. I am 100% satisfied with my shopping experience and purchase at Sierra Trading and will definitely shop there again. Thank you.

I used to order by phone, now I shop and order online. The website is easy to use. I like that discounts and values of coupons can be viewed before proceding to checkout, saves me time while shopping, no need to estimate or calculate value of coupons or special discounts.

Great selection awesome prices! I did have to use chat on a purchase and it didn't go smoothly so she asked me to call her on the phone..well her co-worker got my call while I was finishing up online chatting with the first representative and It was really funny as I had 2 representatives fun fighting over who got to help me with my order (they must sit near each other) I found that very funny! I do have to say I paid 2 day air on an item and didn't get it for almost 5 days. Other then that you guys are great!

You must inform the customer better, that there in a duty charge, when shipping to other counties (Canada). I did not like the $82.00 charge. As well, since the product was poor in quality I had to spend more of MY money to return it back to Sierra Trading. just to bad, too bad

Very easy and successful. I have used Sierra Trading for at least 10 years, and have never had a problem with anything. The website is easy to navigate, and the items always match their descriptions. Their delivery is quick and their return policy makes it simple to return any product. If I ever need to order anything, I always go to their site first. I recommend them to everyone, and have heard positive responses from those who have used them.

As a 20 year customer, (all the Carhartt gear I own is from Sierra), I ordered 5 pairs of Winter socks from them. Order was shipped and then dissappeared into UPS HELL! 5 calls to Sierra, each time I was told"We will get them to you tomorrow" and after 5 days of the order sitting at UPS, Sierra cancelled the order without my knowledge. I called and was told that they could not replace the items as they were out of stock. Asked to speak with Keith Richardson and left my number and got a call from a CS manager who left a message then dodged my return calls. Spoke to their UPS Manager who blamed everyone but UPS. Still waiting to see if they honor their promise to replace the goods and ship for free. Also waiting to see if they try and screw me on their rescinding of the shipment at UPS (I am expecting a battle on this one).
Either way, I'm no longer a Sierra customer as they have forgotten how to conduct business in an ethical manner.
