I ordered shoes on Black Friday. I got a great deal but they never came. I checked my shipping status and they were delivered and signed for in another state. I emailed customer service and they never responded. I called shoebuy and the customer service guy didn't know what happened so he set up for UPS to contact me. They never did so I emailed shoebuy 2 days later and they never responded (again). I called a few days after that and this customer service guy said they were shipped back to the manufacturer for damage and he set up to send me new shoes. He was going to refund me and reship and recharge with a little extra off. My credit card did not show the correct billing or refunds so I called again and a girl said it looked right in their system and to give it another day. A few days later my credit card was correct but I did not get the extra money off I was told I would get. In the end it all worked out but what a process. Not worth it!

I purchase a pair of Spira shoes for $98.00 for my Mom for Christmas which took a long time while to arrive, when they did arrive I tried them on for 2 min to see if they would fit her. The wide would have been to narrow for her so I packaged them back up and sent them back. Two weeks later I call to see where the refund was and they to me that they were dirty and had been worn. So I am not getting a return. I will nerver order from Shoebuy.com again next time I will go through Online shoes.

"This is one of the worst places for reliability on recieving what is ordered. 2 pairs of shoes were ordered on cyber Monday. One as a Christmas Gift. The problems began a week after.
1. There were extra charges on my credit card, shoebuy said it was an error in the system and it would clear. Shipping would take a little longer since they go through other wareshouses. 2. December 10 I recieve a confirmation of shipment of one item and they cancelled my other (the gift). 3. I scrambled to find another retailer for the same gift, found it cheaper and was sent within 3 days. 4. December 17 still hadn't recieved the product. Shoebuy said that it would take up to 8 days to track. Called my credit card and put a dispute on it. 5. 24 December the shipment or followup still has not been recieved from shoebuy. Spoke with a Ronald and Stephanie in the two calls with shoebuy." |

This was my first and last visit to shoebuy.com. I spent well over an hour shopping for 12 pairs of shoes on their site. They clearly marketed a 25% off plus free shipping offer on their home and throughout almost every page I visited.

I ordered a pair of Nevados Cumberland 11.5 M in Tyre Grey, when they came I tried 1 on and it was at least a size and a half too small, I returned them per their instructions immediately and was told they would ship a larger pair in exchange and would notify me of shipment. several days passed after they received the shoes via ups, and no word from them, they ignore my emails and hang up on my calls. do not do business with them they are fraudulent and their guarantee means nothing. I finally got through by phone to them and they claimed they shipped them back to me but had no tracking # or proof of shipment, they also claimed shoes had been worn which is a lie, one shoe was tried on and didn't fit, I returned them unworn immediately.
After being contacted by the Better Business bureau Shoebuy refunded my money. |

They messed up my order and I had to return the wrong merchandise asking for the right ones in exchange. Never received an email or ????. So I called and the rep there was excellent, efficient, kind, patient and helpful. I wish I knew his name. He took care of the whole thing in one phone call. He was from SHOEBUY.COM. Hang on to this guy.

Being the fist time I had purchased from your company.I become a little nervouse.
On your order confirmation you emailed me, its states the following "> Shoebuy.com ships international orders within 2-5 business days. General delivery time is 3-14 business days for receipt outside the continental United States.
So it became a little confusing expecting shipment after 2- 5 business days, however when you click in international order it states a longer period of up to 14 busines days. It also states that money is not taken on your end until the order is ready for dispatch, again this made me nervouse as money was taken immediately before this actually happened..
I receievd the goods in perfect condition with thanks.. However for a first time shopper due to contradicting info.. you made me very nervous.!!!

Aparently, the Private Events division of Shoebuy.com has a different return policy than the regular site, only taking back items within 30 days of purchase rather than 60. In addition, they do not seem to answer their emails or respond to web inquiries. I recently purchased something that didn't fit properly, and contacted them 6 weeks later (my delay was due to a travel schedule). They did not respond to my first or second emails nor my web inquiry but when I called today, they said that they did send one response and will not take the return.
I am surprised that they have such an inadequate customer service policy and also that they are so short sighted with it comes to the lifetime value of a customer. |

Buy shoes anywhere online but not from Shoebuy! I had to return a pair of shoes that were not true to size (ran small) and was charged a hidden $6.95 restocking fee, they wouldn't even do an exchange. So, with shipping $3.99 + restock fee $6.95 it cost $10.94 to try on a pair of shoes. To top it all off, they sent an email stating they had received the returned item and sent a refund to PayPal for the $34.98 original purchase amount. Stick to the sites that clearly state their policy - there are many out there that don't even charge for shipping.

After several attempts to contact them whereby I was put on hold on overseas rates to wait for customer service! Be aware: if there's any problem with shoebuy.com, customer service takes 5 days in answering, they are rude and they don't solve the problem. They keep your money and find all possible ways not to send you the order or charge you more for it.

Everything was great, however I would first try to find what I wanted at Zappos or Endless because Shoebuy takes a week or longer to get the product and charges a $6.95 restocking charge on returns. They also only allow you to send back products on UPS and USPS is more convenient for me. You also have to go online to get a return label for shipping. This is not necessary at Zappos, though it is required at Endless. Zappos is the best if they have the product I want. They offer free overnight shipping. Endless offers free 2-day. Shoebuy takes a week minimum.

Trying to make a purchase on shoebuy.com to use a gift certificate I received. Shoebuy.com has a very unfortunate policy that does not allow a buyer to combine coupons and gift certificates... so, if you have both you're out of luck. Customer service rep was rude when a phone call was made to inquire about this policy.
They had a chance to earn a loyal customer, but completely lost it due to their inane policies and terrible customer service. |
