It’s really a pleasure to deal with such a trustworthy reseller like ServerSupply. I am always in need of Computer Hardware which is discontinued by the Manufacturer. And my first choice is Serversupply. They have, I think, the largest stock of refurbished computer items. They maintain a real-time inventory so that I never experienced any backorder request. Sometimes they asked for added time to ship the product if they didn’t have in their stock, but never deprived me.This time, I have ordered some Cisco Switches & some Controller cards from ServerSupply. I have gotten the best price from them. Those products I received were exactly what I ordered & expect to receive. Whenever I asked for a RMA or a refund, the immediately processed it without any question. The people of customer service are very polite and helpful. What more I can expect from an online merchant. I shall certainly continue buying with them and ask my friends to follow me. Thank you ServerSupply.

Needed an older style motherboard -- older technology. Web site indicated they had it, but after a bad experience with another vendor I called to confirm. Response was excellent and correct. Requested overnight shipping. Received the product before I even received a tracking number. Very happy. I will recommend them.

Bad experience with Server Supply, Inc.
I ordered a used replacement HDD for my Dell computer. After re-formatting the drive and loading my operating system, I ran the drive for about a week when it started throwing continuous errors, BSOD and so on. After running several disk checks, I realized that this was a failing HDD with many bad sectors and clusters. Much worse than my original HDD that this one was purchased to replace. I emailed Server Supply with an explanation of the problems and a picture of the screen showing the errors asking for a replacement, but never received a response. I chalked this up to a bad experience and will never use server supply again but I also want to make sure anyone else who considers using them can at least consider my experience before doing so. Ordered a new hard drive from them for our data server with all our accounting records on it.
The drive that arrived was clearly used/referb and had a large cutout on the lable. When we called they said No Refunds under any circumstances no matter what. Rude beyond belief. Unprofessional company. Dont buy anything unless your ok with used products. Read all the small print and expand any + signs on pages or its totally your fault. |

I needed a power supply for server computer. I ordered them a power supply & received that as early as I expected. It was well packed; once I connected that, it wasn’t working. Instantly I called them & explain the problem. They became so sorry & sent me another one .Although my requirement was the refurbished product but it working as new. Really, more than excellent that I expected . Next time if I need any kinds of server product I must contact with them.

Serversupply's customer service is so fabulous that if I can find the same thing available and fixes the rma and any other trouble very rapidly. I've often made the choice to purchase on Serversupply. Thanks to its exceptionally reasonable return policies, and they have lovely product quality. Server supply ships is perfectly packaged and speedily shipped. couple of days before I bought three 8GB Dell memory from this company. But these did not work properly . Then I called serversupply customer service and let them know that this happened. They shipped three more different memory module out and these are fine. Very good customer service. It was very user friendly to make my purchase. 100% awesome their product quality and customer service as well. Extremely happy with serversupply service! Fantastic! My mobo came without a backplate. Nothing about no backplate on the website. I called them and a guy with an accent I could barely understand tells me they don't have any backplates. So I tell him that's not stated on the website, so he puts me on hold for 5 minutes to 'contact the warehouse'. Needless to say, I hung up after 5 minutes with no check in or anything. Then I email them and a few days later, they send me a RMA to return the product. They could care less what I need or how to fix my problem.

I was looking for a hard disk drive for my server but I was unable to find it. I called many companies and was informed that items are not in stock and that I would have to wait one to two weeks before I can get my hands on the hard drive. I finally came across server supply. Before placing an order I called to confirm if indeed this was true and to my shock they did have it in stock. With the assistance of Kam I placed an order for a Toshiba 60 giga byte hard disk drive from server supply.com about several weeks ago and I had a great experience with them. During the process of the sales order, I had some issues with the order but their staff was very helpful. They contacted me via email and telephone to make sure that my order gets shipped as soon as possible. Not only that but they email you updates invoices at each step of the order process. Not only was the service great, but comparatively cheaper compared to other retailer I came across online. I highly recommend everyone to use their services. I absolutely love server supply. We needed a hard drive for our IBM X-Series 345, and while IBM wanted more than $300, ServerSupply had it for significantly less. I saw that the most recent reviews were poor and decided to shop elsewhere, but ServerSupply was my backup plan...
Too bad the other company I was looking at didn't answer their phones, it cost them a sale. Good news for ServerSupply because they answered almost immediately! After confirming that it was definitely in stock and that it could be overnighted the same day, I placed the order. I was still concerned because of the other less-than-positive reviews, but even with Priority Overnight shipping, it was only about 1/3 the cost of IBM direct pricing. Cost savings are critical! There is an option on their site to "Get Tracking Number" but I think it e-mails them to get the information to you. I clicked it twice throughout the order day and evening to no avail, but that was alright because we received the package the next day before 10AM, just as expected. The unit worked with no problems. |

Hard drive was listed as "new" on Google shopping, but received a refurbished drive. Buried at the end of the "detailed product description" on their website is the useful information that the drive is rebuilt. It has a strong 30-day warranty. For the exact same money I could have bought a brand new drive with a 180-day warranty. I only went with Server Supply because I thought the drive would ship from their physical location on the east coast which is close to my location. Even this was deceptive- it shipped from California.
The cherry on top is that returning it would cost half as much as the drive itself once you add return shipping to all of their restocking fees, so I guess I'll just hope for the best then replace it with the one I should have bought in the first place when it fails in 31 days. |

Be aware of serversupply.com they will send you dead equipment and parts and fail to RMA it. I bought 2 cpu's from them and they arrived dead. They refused to return them after few days of buying them. They take forever to respond to emails. DON'T SHOP THERE

First of all, when I checked the HDD product, it was listed as "New", but found out that it's "Used". Not only that, the HDD has DriveLock password and cannot be used. When I called they told me basically there's nothing they can do about it [selling the bad HDD to me], it was the last item in-stock, and they offered a refund. I checked the website recently and it's still selling the same thing, saying "New" and "In-stock" |

Waste of time. I ordered the M017G mother board listed as new for $85.00. 3 days later I get an email that My account has been credited the $85 dollars I call up to see what the problem was and was told that they were out of stock and no more new ones are available. Today I see that they have a new one listed for $130. I call and ask for a stock check. Yes they have one in stock for $125. I explained that I had ordered that board and gave my orginal invoice # and asked if I could get the board at the $85 price of 6-17-11 invoice. The answered was no. I asked what the warrenty was and was told 30days. I questioned the description of "NEW" and was told that the board was not new but was as new. AGAIN BIG WASTE OF TIME. LOTS OF LIES.
